Our Story
Elite Worldwide Transportation opened its’ doors in 2005 as Elite Limousines of Houston, by its founder Renzo Ormsbee. It was originally operating as a retail limousine service however shortly thereafter began to focus on business and executive clientele. This provided a more stable workload, budding client base, and room for company expansion.
The early years were lean years, with most company operations including: driving, scheduling and cleaning being performed by the founder, his wife, and occasionally their children. Knowing that knowledge is power, Renzo became an active member of the Limousine Association of Houston straightaway. In 2006 he was named to fill an open LAH directors’ seat where he learned from, and gained the trust of, many of the more seasoned operators in the Houston area. A focus was put on the website immediately, assisting Elite to ranking at or near the top for high value key words in the industry for the Houston area.
Elite Worldwide Transportation has grown exponentially since its’ austere beginnings in a garage office with meager street-side parking. The office has since moved several times with the most recent being in 2014 to our current 5000 square foot facility. Our much larger facility houses not only our office staff center, but also a large warehouse where our mechanical and cleaning/detail work is done by our in-house maintenance staff as well as a sizeable parking lot.
