Here's some fascinating insight from a recent webinar we hosted on the nuances of #DryNeedling and #Acupuncture. One major highlight was the distinction clearly drawn between these two treatments that are often thought of interchangeably. Our guest speaker and developer of the Dynamic Dry Needling (DNX) hands-on courses explains that while the tools used in both therapies are similar - a filament needle - the principles and methodologies behind them differ. Dry needling doesn't rely on traditional acupuncture theories or vocabulary; instead, it utilizes neuroanatomy and the latest scientific insights on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
