JOIN THE TEAM: The Gallery is looking for an Enthusiastic, Dependable, Well-organized, part-time Event Manager to work WEEKEND EVENTS ONLY(possibly one day a week as well). This position requires a lot of person to person contact and problem-solving abilities. Events/wedding experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate (education will be consider for experience). This position can be used as referral to complete work-study hours if applicable. Event manager will be responsible for monitoring weddings/events, ensuring proper setup/breakdown of event, and overseeing upkeep of venue. Communicating with staff, planners, and clients to ensure a smooth-running event. Event Manager also will work behind the scenes handling administrative task and posting on Social Media while working events. Must have great communication skills, MUST BE BILIGUAL NO EXCEPTIONS(Spanish), and available for weekends, and have reliable transportation. Candidate must also be familiar with Microsoft office, excel, sending/responding to emails/phone calls, and social media. This position could lead to a long-term position within the company. The Gallery is an exquisite alternative to hotels or country clubs that require you to tailor your event to fit their services. Instead, The Gallery provides a private, architecturally inspired venue in which to indulge yourself, and your guests. Guests are invited to explore the facility and flow through the interior rooms to the outdoor patios and gardens. The interior rooms alone can comfortably seat up to 300 guests for a formal seated dinner or cocktail reception.
