Rosalyn Renee Brunswick-McDuffie was born on January 18, 1969, in Los Angeles, California. The family relocated to Houston, Texas in 1970 where Roz was educated in Houston Independent School District. After a brief career in rhythm and blues, and before marrying her husband, Efrem McDuffie, Rosalyn used her theatrical talents for a few years. Rosalyn’s life as a wife and mother blended well with her career. She began recording at Abundant Life Cathedral under the pastorate of Dr. Ed Montgomery. In 2003, Rosalyn recorded “Just Rosalyn”. In 2006, she and Rhonda McLemore, as background singers for Gospel icon Donnie McClurkin, agreed to join forces and start a group called “Lyric Sings”.

Here's a little background information about Lee Ida Brown and Nevarro Daniels:
📍Lee Ida Brown-Campbell was born on May 22, 1931, to Claster Washington and Willie Patrick in Urbana, Texas. Lee Ida toured locally and nationally with Gospel artists such as Cecil L. It’s your Gospel Music Haus and Museum Minute in History! Here are a couple of gospel singers that we’ll be honoring at The Experience IV this Sunday:
📍Brenda Waters was born March 7th in Alexandra, LA in a year she was committed to never willingly divulge. Waters formed the B, C and S Singers with Carl Preacher and Shirley Joiner. They recorded several albums for Savoy Records and later formed the Southeastern Inspirational Youth Choir together. Brenda was a soloist, minister of music, workshop clinician, and songwriter with a colorfully unique personality. She was featured with Donald Lawrence & the Tri-City Singers before releasing a solo CD, “Believers and Friends” on Crystal Rose Records in 1999. It featured the massive radio hit “Victory” and earned her a Stellar Award as Best Traditional Gospel Artist.
📍“Ms. Shirley” as she was affectionately known was born in Houston, Texas to Johnnie and Elma Robinson. She was the eldest of five siblings and began piano lessons at an early age. Joiner was the Minister of Music at the Outreach Missionary Baptist Church where she served from 1969 to 2005. Joiner was a founding member of the world-renown Southeast Inspirational Choir. She also was a member of the dynamic trio B. C. & S. with Brenda Waters and Carl Preacher.
