Remember I shared that I have 5 sisters and they are often working with me in some capacity at my events? Well my little sister @lomygosh_ recently graduated from college with her degree in Music Therapy. I enlisted her to assist with volunteer check-in but also asked her to sing"America The Beautiful" for the opening ceremony. She has such a powerful voice!

When I plan destination weddings, I make it a priority to take one or two trips early in the process, dedicating a full day to back-to-back meetings with potential vendors. It’s a great way to get the couple into the planning mood while also making the most of our time and money—no need for multiple trips! For weddings in Austin or Galveston, I aim for a same-day turnaround. But when it’s further, I stay overnight and catch the earliest flights to keep things efficient! ✈️

Here’s one of my favorite corporate projects to date! I had the pleasure of designing the hospitality suite for Abbvie at the National Sales Network Conference. My client envisioned a space that would be both fun and informative—a place where guests could enjoy themselves while also learning about the organization, which is key for their recruiting efforts.
To bring this vision to life, I created a nightclub-themed suite where everything was lit up in AbbVie Blue. We added branding in all the right places with custom floor decals, entry signage, table graphics, bar decals, and even pillows! We of course had a DJ who kept the party rocking all night! Branded events like this allow me to be creative while also focusing on strategic goals, and I’m thrilled to share that over 1,100 people visited the suite!

Although a simple set-up this time lapse shows a little under two hours of us setting up to get the linens, candles, vases, place settings, napkins, and chairs set. The longest part was getting the linens to fit right on non-standard size tables that were partially metal (they were so heavy and hard to move) and then filling up all of those vases with water. 🖤🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹 BUT of course we broke down in 25 minutes 🤣

Last year I attended the @connectmeetings event in @the.woodlands and let me tell you...this city has so much to offer for events and meetings!
Day 1
We registered and enjoyed a private tour of @woodlandspavilion and enjoyed a western meal courtesy of @wpcatering who services the facility at the opening reception.
Day 2
We had a yummy breakfast at our host hotel, the @westinthewoodlands! Followed by one on one meetings with venues, hotels, and independent planners.
Over lunch we discussed "The Power of Awe".
Later that night we had a Tequila Tasting hosted by @visitsouthpadreisland. You know the event professionals loved it!
Can't wait to Visit Frisco later this year!!
