Cue the music…

🎶 “Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married” 🎶

This iconic 15th Century French Chapel was purchased, shipped and reconstructed on on property. Crystal and Garrett’s ceremony was so picturesque and this historic element truly made it unique!

As guests entered the ceremony space they followed the shaded path lead by stunning foliage. Everyone was greeted with a crisp glass of champagne and entered the gates to this one of a kind view.

This entire day was truly a dream and with this stunning scenery and historic chapel as the backdrop this ceremony will forever be one of our favorites!

It truly doesn’t get more picturesque and seizing travel as the opportunity to inspire your engagement photos is the most amazing way to build that wedding day excitement.

When our couples are traveling abroad for their wedding we always suggest using that pre wedding trip to do an engagement or lifestyle shoot with your photographer! It’s truly the best way to build that relationship with your photography team AND you walk away with even more stunning imagery of your wedding destination!

Signature cocktails are such a fun and experience focused way to highlight your favorite drinks as a couple or enhance the culinary experience by making special selections that compliments passed hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour or your dinner!

If you want to take it a step further, we love creating unique names for your specialty drinks that are relevant to your love story or the location! This is a great way to personalize that moment and guests love it!

Special reminder to brides ✨

As your wedding day approaches, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of excitement and emotions. Amidst the flurry of preparations it’s important to remember to stay grounded and cherish each moment! Today we are sharing tips and encouragement that we love to impart on our own couples!

1) Breathe and Center Yourself: take a few moments to close your eyes, take deep breaths, and connect with your inner calm. This will help you focus on the present and let go of any stress or worries.

2) Embrace Mindfulness: throughout the day, make a conscious effort to be fully aware of your surroundings and the people around you. Notice the details, the sense, the sounds, and the love that surrounds you.

3) Prioritize Connection: amidst the hustle and bustle, remember that your wedding day is about celebrating love and unity. Take time to connect with your partner, family, and friends. Share laughs, tears, and heartfelt conversations that will become treasured memories.

There’s a specific moment that happens at every wedding… one where we see a Mother off to the side relishing in a moment of admiration for their daughter or son before they say “I do”. I’ve come to realize that even though their child is grown - in that moment they still see their baby 🤍

Today is for ALL of our Moms and we owe a HUGE thank you for all that you do, the sacrifices you make and the endless amount of love that you pour into your family!

Let’s talk about event branding!

Your event branding creates the opportunity to weave pieces of your story into the details that reach your guests at all touch points in the wedding experience. From the beginning when they receive their invitations in the mail - all the way to the wedding day as they progress through the series of events in the wedding experience!

We love a good pattern and in this instance the concept was perfectly aligned with what our couple wanted! We created the opportunity to weave meaningful “Easter eggs” in their pattern that were personal and unique to the couple.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PATTERN:

1) THE LION: Represents the Leo horoscope as a symbol for their son.
2) THE TELESCOPE: Symbolized the couples mutual love for stargazing and all things interstellar. This also alludes to their shared love for travel and exploring!
3) THE BUTTERFLY: Symbol of transformation & hope.
4) THE CRESCENT MOON: A nod to their wedding day as the date falls on a waning crescent moon. The moon also symbolizes a “change of seasons” which is relevant as the couple was entering a new season of life!

At the beginning of this week we were checking in with our couples and one of our brides shared the sweetest sentiments with us! To be honest there’s nothing that we love more than hearing positive feedback from our clients (present and past) and her kind words truly filled our cup this week so we had to share!

✨ “People always ask, “how’s the wedding planning going. I know it must be so stressful”. And I tell them that the planning turned out to be the easiest part. I thought I would have hard a hard time just sitting back and allowing someone else to take the wheel since I’m so used to planning my parties. But you ladies get me! You understand what I want and how I want it. Our thought processes and how we all see things truly align. You have definitely been my bright spots during this process!”

You ALWAYS want to hire your wedding planner BEFORE diving into this part of the process. Why?

Selecting your location and property is a major part of the planning process that impacts the subsequent decisions that follow (accessibility, budget, decor, etc). It's without a doubt a discovery process and we do a lot of that "soul searching" together with our couples to help offer fresh perspective and relieve a lot of the stress and pressure that comes along with that need to find the perfect property.

There’s so much more depth to this initial step in planning and it goes far beyond aesthetics. Our role is to make sure that your wedding is planned with intention and we want to know that the location not only has relevance but is functionally the best decision for you based on your priorities for your wedding experience!

Your location and property search is one of our favorite parts of the process because we walk hand in hand to ensure you’re making an educated choice! Not to mention we always seem to discover the best personal stories with our couples through out this process 🤍

When we are traveling, we have itineraries for our clients, and separate itineraries for ourselves.

Depending on where we are working so much of what we do is done virtually, so as soon as we make our way on to property it is a huge priority to touch base with every person we’ve built a team and had contact with.

Life Update 🤍

Taylor, here and hello 👋 from maternity leave!

We’ve seen some new faces around here so for those of you that are new - I’m the creative director of

We welcomed our baby girl, Caroline, on November 23rd and we’ve been adjusting to life as a family of FOUR. I’m taking this time to bond with baby girl, be with my family, recover and most importantly… soak in ALL the baby snuggles 🥰

Our hearts are SO full - my daughter Charlotte is loving her role as a big sister and is enamored with Caroline meanwhile becoming a mom of 2 and sharing these first weeks with my husband has been a true gift and our hearts are SO full!

While I’m taking maternity leave, Brittany is caring for our couples and keeping me updated on everyone’s progress! I might be away for now but I still have my pulse on everything that’s going on behind the scenes 😉

After receiving our Newborn gallery from the other day it only felt fitting to share what we’re up to and sprinkle your feed with some extra cuteness 🥰

For many weddings, guests may have travelled a long way to celebrate, and welcome bags are one of the best ways to thoughtfully greet guests and set the tone for the entire wedding experience!

When we start curating suggestions for each individual couple we love to take into consideration the location and its significance to our couple. We also love to support local businesses or artists by integrating their culturally and geographically relevant pieces. We want guests to feel like the pieces in their bags are a collection of quality items intended to compliment their experience and in many cases join them on the journey home so they can continue to be enjoyed!

For example, if the culinary experience is really important to the couple we might include packets of the signature spice used by the property for guests to take home and use in their own kitchen. OR if the client or property has a signature scent, we might include soap that is wrapped with their custom pattern for guests to take on future travels or use at home.

Welcome bags are an especially fun way to incorporate these nods to the couple's unique story, and we love to create them with our clients!

Katy and Cade’s wedding was a stunning al fresco affair tucked away in a gorgeous private garden. Their wedding aesthetic was simple and timeless with a touch of whimsy! Because of the simplistic approach to their wedding the linen selection was SO important in adding visual interest to the space. In collaboration with Maxit Flower Design we were able to cull through countless linen swatches with our bride so we could narrow down our options and take the reins on the ultimate linen selection. We ended up with a variety of complimentary linens that looked chic and classic in the space. They played a huge role in pulling all of the thoughtful details together!

It’s no secret that weddings are highly emotional and we see our couples in some of their most beautiful and vulnerable moments.

The love between Val & Steve was undeniably magnetic from day one. As a groom, Steve was so open about his affection for Val and as planners we loved seeing how passionate he was about making sure their day was perfect for her!

We encourage our couples not to hold back on tears or emotion during the day – it's okay to live in the authenticity of how they really feel and let those real emotions flow out and this day was FULL of that emotion that we love to see!

The venue selection process is a journey and a major opportunity for us to discover new things about our couples as we go through these beginning phases with each other. It's another reason why we don't limit consultation meetings between us and the couple – we want to take as much time as we need to find the perfect fit.

For Amanda and Garrett, the venue selection process was just that... a process! At the beginning Amanda was absolutely certain that she wanted to get married in Lake Tahoe. But when we presented our research and venue selections she started realizing that something was missing. We expanded our search across the states but nothing felt like the right fit!

Through this process we discovered the significance of Canada as a location. After Amanda shared a memory of her and Garrett's first New Years Eve kiss in the snow among the Rockies, we immediately asked if she would be open to us exploring that location!

This time, when we presented our research and venue selections, Amanda finally had that aha moment. This was a particularly rewarding "soul searching" venue selection process for us, and it was a joy to see Amanda and Garrett light up when they were reminded of their first New Year's kiss on the big day.
