Thank you to everyone who came out on Wednesday to celebrate Van's life with us! He would be so grateful to see all the support for his loved ones and the City View family. So many faces we haven't seen in years but just your presence lets us know how much you loved him and us. So many stories of how "Van helped get me on my feet" and "Van saved my wedding". What an incredible life he lived and it's astonishing how many lives he truly touched.

As our team plans to celebrate the life of this passionate man we wish to tell the world we will not close our doors, we will not stop offering quality food and services, we will not let Van’s vision go.
Instead we will continue to grow and offer the highest in quality food and service.
We are a family-owned business and both Victoria and Rachel have been trained by Van for the last 15 years. Both have his passion and knowledge of event services and have been working towards the moment he could take a step back.
This moment has come and our team is ready to take this company to higher heights with fresh new eyes but old-school knowledge and passion.
Thank for the bottom of our City View family’s heart for all the messages.
A celebration of Van’s life is being planned. Details are still being worked out but we will announce soon. ❤️❤️❤️

It is with great sadness that we announce our leader and mentor, Evangelos “Van” Smiros passed away yesterday. He was a man truly passionate about food, service and his family both at home and at work. He is loved by his whole team and most consider him a father figure. He will be sorely missed and the pain in our heart will remain for years to come. Please be gentle with our team as we continue to offer the highest food services. We are committed to make him proud and hold close the amazing lessons he taught us all.
We move forward always thinking, “What would Van do”.
We will follow up with service arrangements once the shock of losing him subsides.
