Today is a new day and I'm so glad about it!! My Girl Scout troop #106205 is hosting a brunch at Wunsche High School on February 10th! We will be discussing communication, relationships and mental health.

Our teens are going through so much and I think it's important for them to know that they are not alone. They may shut people out or feel some type of shame. They may feel anxiety and find themselves digging a hole with no ladder. Depression is real for everyone. I know this brunch can't fix everything, but a little encouragement can go a long way.

This is a fundraiser for our troop. The cost is $10 per person. We will also accept donations.

I think I'm done and I got everything I wanted for my birthday! School starts in 2 weeks and my baby girl is going to 9th grade! She is so ready!Thank you everyone for the wishes, gifts and the love. It was beautiful! The people that came showed me love. My LVAD is gone. I haven't had any heart rejections. I'm still required to get Covid boosters, labs and my next 6 month clinic appointments, but guess what...thats nothing compaired to what I've been through.

10 years ago on July 26th 2013, I was diagnosed with heart failure. Alex was 2 months old. Kenzie was 4. Amos and I had no clue what was to happen when the Dr. told me I had 6 months to live. We faught as a family. My village grew and some people moved away. I lost my faith in Go, but the right people allowed me to share my feeling with no judgement. Facing death so many times over these 10 years, I realized that I am still here for a reason.

I'm not perfect. I am me. I have screws in my skull. My scars are beautiful. I have someone else's heart keeping me alive. I cry a lot!! I look a little different and my attitude goes ups and down. I am working on myself and only focusing on people who truly care about me. Life is funny and I just want to live. I hope whatever I have done or what I am about to do pleases God.

Today was a happy day! We started breakfast at the Muesuem of Ice Cream! OMG! If only this can happen every day! Austin we had fun today!

Their dad was not excited about this decision, but he sampled a few flavors onlong the way. I had 2 full cups, tried 2 and ate 2 cotton candy cones! The boy and girl got away from me, but it was unlimited ice cream. That sugur rush was crazy!

When I turned 30, I was diagnosed with heart failure. 10 years later, I am still winning! I'm still going through the multiple diagnoses, surgeries, ptsd, depression, confusion, memory loss, and post transplant changes.

I am still grateful and excited for my 40th and my 1st transplant year. The donor coach will be at Dave and Busters on Sunday July 23rd! Please sign in whe you arrive and help me replenish the blood bank.

Friday my scouts started summer with community service at the Trap Garden in Acres Homes. I love the art, my daughter thought we were in the wrong place. They needed help painting benches for the community garden and they made me proud.

On June 10th, they will have a field day to celebrate the garden. There will be food, music and free gardening lessons.

My baby boy is 10 years old. He gives me life. I'm so blessed to have seen him grow through these years. His smile and pretty eyes dont work like they used too, but the love he give me is more than enough! Im not ready for you to grow up, but your daddy told me to enjoy this now because it wont last that long....he's a hater!

Well it's another 3 weekend of celebrating my boy! He gets whatever he wants. He saved my life, but for him its just love.

We made it y'all! My princess is 14 years old. She is strong, smart, confident, bossy and still finding her way! I love that about her. I love that Amos and I can support her and encourage her to try different things. I love that she knows whT she wants. I love that her kindness meets her shady if needed. She is bold! She is my first born. 💜 Happy Birthday Toot! 💜
