and Dartmoor ponies (England) consumed my own childhood - and fueled my life long passion for ponies..
Hardy little ponies also come from: Mongolia, and Tibet, north China,
Oh and from the frozen tundras…

- Yakutian ponies (Russia, Siberia)
Small ponies have adapted to various environments, however their size, coat thickness, and body fat often reflect their need for cooler climates, and a terrain they can walk and forage feed. Ponies generally do not do well confined to stables and much prefer to live and travel in Herds…
