Client books show two months ago. Says it’s going to be outside at a park. I try to advise against a show outdoors considering how fickle the weather can be. They insist. I relent. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Deposit is paid and show is confirmed. Four days ago, they let me know they have to cancel the party on account of the weather. I advise considering alternate venues/dates and tell them to get back to me. They decide to cancel altogether and request deposit back. Unfortunately, deposit is non refundable but is credited it to them for a calendar year to reschedule. 👍

Fast forward to today. Right now is when their show was supposed to start — this is what the weather looks like. ☀️

Moral of the story: never trust the weather in Houston. Bigger moral: never have a party outside if you want a magic show. Biggest moral, trust my wisdom. 🔮
