I lost her at a young age but I believe my passion for cooking comes from her. I decided at a young age I wanted to do what she did for our family but on a grander scale, instead of just feeding the souls of my family and friends, I wanted to be able to feed everyone some of the home cooked contemporary soul food that I grew up with.
