He is Risen. The things he has done in and for my family I will forever be grateful. I am writing this while my 15 yr old daughter is upstairs getting ready for bed singing Elohim and it brought me to tears knowing my kids know Jesus loves them and they love Jesus. They can choose anything yet they choose Him time and time again.

Open adoption is beautiful and hard. My husband and I decided early on that our children would know where they came from because denying their biology was like denying a part of who they were. It hasn’t been easy for all parties but we found joy that even tho there might still be heartache we have peace and mutual respect. A very special moment as Skylar was grandpas girl. We saved him a chair with a letterman with his initial. We knew it would be a very emotional moment so early in the day I reveled it to my sister and mom. We cried, he would have been the sharpest one in the room. His presence was known and even tho we couldn’t see him we felt him.

Thank you for capturing this and every moment.

I don’t even think realized it but at this exact moment he played DtFM by bad bunny and that’s when my girl lost it because she had just made a TikTok of her beloved grandpa with this song.
