DJ Rami Ashawa was born in Kuwait with parents from Gaza and Ramleh. He grew up in Houston and it’s diversity influenced his love of all music. He has performed at Festivals, Concerts and Special Events all over America. Houston is his home but Palestine will forever be in his heart. ❤️

DJ Rami is one of Houston's most in demand DJs. He brings a love of music and over 10 years of experience to every performance.

We can’t wait for him to finally join us on stage for the first time at the 10th Houston Palestinian Festival! 🇵🇸🇵🇸

Throwback to "The Hurricane Wedding". It started amazingly and only got better as it went along. The dancefloor couldn't contain all the dancers and it was a BIG dancefloor! I did the uplighting and DJed along side Jabour and the band.

Then Hurricane Harvey showed up at 11:30p and stranded everyone who didn't make it out including me, the groom, bride and their families. Couldn't risk driving my equipment and car through flooded streets so I was stuck at the hotel for 3 days!

I'll never forget how amazing the bride and groom were to me and how Houston pulled together to help each other.

I love this city and all the people that make it great ❤️
