Mirco venues are popping up everywhere as a way to host small-scale events. These venues are being used for intimate weddings, showers, birthday parties, photography sets, corporate events, and workshops.
Who can benefit? Party hostesses, planners, small business, content creators, photographers, etc.
When I decided to take on running a micro venue, I didn't know they were so popular until I started researching it. But for some reason, as popular as they are becoming, I still get a lot of questions, and 'what is it exactly that you do there' is the number one question. Honest answer, I don't do much, except serve the people who actually do the things in our space. We are honored everytime someone books us for a special event. The newest booking is for a spa day themed birthday party and we can't wait for that!!!
Being a small business owner can be hard and I have made lots of mistake along the way, but one I make often in both my businesses is comparing myself to similar businesses. Measuring up what I do against what they do. I'd like to say I don't, but I do and it's a struggle to stop sometimes. But it is honestly draining and the fasted way for me to loose my joy and passion. This is something I'm working on. So cheers to this new set up. It's bright, it's colorful, it's cheerful, just like me. Don't make the same mistake as me and try to fit into the trending things that fill your feed...BE YOU!
