I’m taking a leap of faith..
I’ve been daydreaming this retreat up for years. It always took a backseat to my other endeavors because it wasn’t a priority at the time.
But as my business grows more towards workshops and education and experiences..I started really thinking about what this retreat would look like.
What did I want people to experience, what did I want them to feel and see. I wanted florals to of course be a part of it. But I also wanted people to have an opportunity to slow down, get in touch with nature and a simpler way of life for a while. I wanted to have conversations with like minded people about what sets our souls on fire.
This retreat will be nourishing, awakening, educational and an opportunity to experience a land that is filled with natural beauty beyond what we can imagine.
And food..there will of course be food. Really really good food. And wine.
Greenery is not always the most budget friendly option!
If that’s your vibe and you just like the look..then totally go for it! I personally love greenery and foliage myself!
BUT don’t settle for it just because you think you’ll save a butt load of money.
But hey..if you just like the greenery, jungle, rain forest vibe..then go for it!

It all started with 1 wreath..
It started with 1 wreath workshop at a local holiday bazaar years ago and blew up into now dozens of different wreath and floral workshops a year.
I truly enjoy educating and teaching people about flowers and the art of floral design and wreath making. It brings people so much joy and I feel so grateful to be able to share what I’ve learned in the past decade of designing to those who also have an affinity for flowers.
I cannot wait to expand these workshops in 2024 and offer something I’ve never offered before.
Stay tuned..
Crafting joy..1 wreath at a time ♥️
Wreath Season kicked off on Tuesday and it’s been such a blast! 55 wreaths made so far and about 215 more to go!
Out Thanksgiving Floral workshop was a hit.I talked a lot about processing, fresh flower care, and local flower sources. Then I dove into floral design and my tried and true techniques I use to create arrangements. I always try to drive the point that floral design is an art form. It’s creative. Sure, there are fundamentals and certain “rules” we all learn throughout our floristry life..but in the end..we all make it our own. #floristry #floralworkshops #floraldesigner #floraldesign #thanksgivingdecor #flowerarrangement

Out with the pins, in with the pocket square! What do you think about this boutonniere alternative?
Turned a gloomy rainy wedding day..into a romantic first day dream for a beautiful couple. I love creating spaces where people promise their love forever to each other.
A hanging floral install that reminds us of the free-spirited sea with multi-textural layers of dried blooms that have been ever so intentionally placed to create a dreamy bohemian space that we love. 🤍 Keep those creatively free floral hanging installation requests coming..because we adore them. #amberandearth #florist #floraldesigners #floraldesign #hangingflorals #njflorist #njwedding #floristsreview #weddingflorals #weddinginspiration #bohowedding #summerwedding
Wrapping up the last of the Spring Wreath Workshops this week! It’s been so fun and I’ve loved every second of teaching the 90+ attendees how to make these beautiful wreaths. Thank you to one of my partners, the The Herbary at Bear Creek Farm for hosting one of the workshops and for this beautiful space. Instant joy is felt as soon as you enter their incredible greenhouse. Stay tuned for our Spring Floral Arranging Workshop dates coming soon! #amberandearth #floralworkshop #wreathworkshop #njevents #floraldesign #floraldesigner #workshops #eucalyptus #lavender #spring #floristry

A long awaited snow fall brings joy to my kids and somehow magically makes our home feel more warm and cozy than usual. Although the snow is welcome, I couldn’t help but think of my little spring flower babies that started to bloom..and so I decided to bring a few hyacinths in to the warmth to add color and remind us that spring is indeed coming. #amberandearth #springbulbs #springflowers #springiscoming #flowergarden #pottedplants #pottedgarden #hyacinths #greenthumb
Which is your favorite?? It’s impossible for me to pick. Every bouquet I’ve ever designed is as unique as the bride it’s for and I love every single one. 😍 #weddinginspiration #weddingphotography #weddingflowers #bridalbouquet #bridesofinstagram #floristofinstagram #florist #weddingflorist #bridestyle #floristry
Hope all this grace and class stay with me in 2023! 😂💁🏻♀️ Happy New Year!
2022..you were a good one. This year brought clarity for me. I found out new things about myself as a designer, small business owner and mama. I discover and uncover what truly drives me, brings me joy and what roads I want to follow and avoid. Amber and Earth will continue to bring people joy through flowers and that’s really all I ever set out to do. I am so grateful for all my incredible wedding clients I had this year, all the amazing venues and vendors I had the pleasure of working with and every single person that came to a workshop of mine. THANK YOU. Thank you for allowing me to design for, work with and teach what I love. A HUGE thank you to my incredible team of talented, bad ass women as well. I could not pull off those weddings without you. I hope you had as much fun as I did. 2023, I’m ready for you! Ready for more pretty flowers, weddings, workshops, silly shenanigans, and falling more in love with what I do for a living. ✌🏻out 22’ ..#amberandearth #florist #floraldesigner #njflorist #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #floraldesigner #floristry #dowhatyoulove #happynewyear #2022recap #2022 #hny #newyear
