Along with being open as warming Center tonight from 6pm to 6am there will be some hot rice and tomatoes, water and hot coffee available this evening to fill any hungry bellies.❤️

The Town of Howland Community and Events Center located at 8 Main St in Howland will be opening up the facility for a warming center. The center plans to be open and available to anyone who is cold or needs a warm place tonight from 6pm until 6am. If you are cold, have furnace issues, or just need a warm place to be, please join us at the center. The volunteers would love the company. We would like to thank the volunteers for offering to operate & staff the center overnight.

Get into the holiday spirit and beat cabin fever at the Howland Community Center December Craft Night. This month, cut, sew and decorate a felted gingerbread themed ornament or garland. Choose from a variety of festive shapes and create a masterpiece to add to your tree or give as a thoughtful homemade gift. With options for all skill levels and abilities, this fun activity is perfect for families, friends, and individuals alike. Join us at the Howland Community Center on December 11th from 6:00pm-7:30pm and let the holiday magic begin! All materials and guidance are provided. Suggested donation: $10. 🎄

If wrapping isn’t your favorite thing to do we can wrap your presents for you! Bring your own wrapping paper and 50 cents per present! All proceeds will go to the community center!
