🤟🏼 🫶🏽 AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE 🫶🏽 🤟🏼
What is “ONE ACCORD”? A brand new exciting group meeting at THE WELL in Pamplico on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm-7:30pm. This group will be creatively working hand-in-hand with Director Aaron Coulson to create unique and visually captivating musical numbers that will be performed both live and recorded for social media distribution. The goal is to bring the Deaf and Hearing communities together to showcase the vibrancy of American Sign Language while simultaneously presenting the Gospel in a creative way. We believe the stage is for everyone. If you have found hope in Jesus or you are curious who He is, come see how we do life together @ THE WELL.

* WHO? ALL AGES. (If your child is interested and they are between 6-10 years old they must be accompanied by an adult)
* WHAT? American Sign Language performance group

About the director.

SIGN LANGUAGE
The instructor is a licensed Sign Language Interpreter, past resident choreographer at Sign Design Theatre Company and vocal interpreter for New York Deaf Theatre. He was the founder for Las Vegas Deaf Theatre and has taught many language and Deaf culture classes across the states. Currently he is in his 5th year teaching for SUNY Adirondack’s Continuing Education Dept.

ENTERTAINMENT
Aaron has gained an excellent reputation within the entertainment industry; performing, choreographing, casting and directing around the world. In his over 30 years of professional artistry, Mr Coulson’s aptitude comes from his direct experience on; Broadway, National and International Tours, Theme parks, Cruise Lines, Music Videos, Television and Movies. Most recently in Las Vegas Aaron was a Headliner for a major show at the Planet Hollywood Casino. There, he also opened for Britney Spears *PIECE OF ME landing him his first spot light in People Magazine. Amongst other performances and noteworthy notoriety he was awarded the Broadway World Award for his choreography, he won a nationwide singing competition which earned him the chance to sing with Mr. Barry Manilow and took first place in another nationwide singing competition for Worship Leaders called “Hallelujah Auditions”.

Currently Aaron serves as the Worship Leader at The Well pphc.

We are excited to announce The Well pphc is expanding their Worship, Arts and Technical teams. We hope you will join us for a fun laid-back evening.

- WHO: Anyone with a heart to serve and a love for Jesus & people. All Ages and giftings.

- WHEN: Sunday, July 28th. Sign ups start at 5:00pm.

- WHERE: The Well PPHC. 613 N Pamplico Hwy. Pamplico, SC 29583

- WHY: Our hearts desire is to creatively communicate the Gospel in a variety of ways inside and outside the walls of the church. This takes a team. 🙌🏼

- WHAT: We are excited to hear your heart and know your why. There will be a form at sign in to fill out then each individual will be called to meet with the team at a first-come first-serve basis.

* All attendees will be given a form to fill out upon arrival. You can also email us at [email protected] to receive a form prior to coming in.
* Attendees will be seen at a first come basis.
* Areas of interest we are looking to expand, but not limited to are: SINGERS, CHOIR, MUSICIANS, TECHNICAL TEAMS (lights, sound, video, photography…), STAGE TECHS (painters, carpenters, stage hands…), CREATIVE TEAMS, DANCERS, ACTORS, COSTUMES/PROPS (designers, shoppers, builders, seamstress…), MARKETING…

⭐️ ⭐️ A massive congratulations ⭐️ ⭐️ to all the teams that competed today at Broadalbin-Perth Central School District CHEER BONANZA today!!! Way to go Franklin Academy High School Cheerleaders who took 1st in the Coed Division, won best choreography, and took 1st overall as Grand Champions! Congratulations also to Broadalbin-Perth ladies for Section 2 Varsity Class C state qualifiers!!! 🏆 They are headed to Binghamton this weekend to compete in the State Championship!

(((Conversational American Sign Language (ASL LEVEL 1)

Learn essential ASL vocabulary and dig deeply into proper ASL grammar and the vibrancy of the Deaf community. Use ASL to ask and answer questions about your likes, dislikes and feelings, introduce yourself and your background, describe your family by name and age, and engage in basic introductory conversations. Lessons in this course will build on each other in a way that allows students to see immediate progress.

This course is designed for beginners or those seeking to improve their technique or ASL grammar and broaden their vocabulary. Knowledge of ASL may be helpful for those in health-related or educational fields, and may assist with communicating with individuals with autism, speech delays or other intellectual disabilities. You’ll learn from handouts, PowerPoints, group work, deaf individuals in the community and interactive activities.

Lessons in this course will build on each other in a way that allows students to see immediate progress.

This course is designed for students with basic ASL knowledge or those seeking to improve on their technique and ASL grammar and broaden their vocabulary. It is especially helpful for those in health-related or educational fields, and will assist in communicating with the deaf, as well as those with autism, speech delays or other mental disabilities.
