Today is Meistersinger Honor Choir at Wartburg college!

Caitlyn Poppe, Maya Hoppes, Rob Watson, Preston Olson, Brinkley Simmer, and Jaelynn Mentel got to see or fall semester student teacher Mr. Schindler!!!

District Large Group Speech at Cascade was today!!

This isn’t the whole team because we had a full crazy morning starting at 8:00am!! To their dismay, that meant we had to leave at 5:45am, but that’s what naps are for!

All 6 of the events below will advance to the State Speech contest in Decorah on Feb. 8th! Congratulations everyone!

This state-wide, auditioned honor choir recognizes the best young voices in Iowa, and we couldn’t be prouder of these three. Way to go, Kennedy, Tori, and Clara! 🌟

Today was one of THE HARDEST days of the year for some awesome choir and band students, Allstate auditions. They got up today around 4:30am and got to the high school by 6:00 for some breakfast pizza and preparation. Then we left for Hampton Dumont CAL, where auditions are held.

4 band students and 11 choir students auditioned to be a part of the prestigious Allstate Band or Allstate Choir.

Band:
Brianna Allen (Clarinet), Steven Dekutoski (Percussion), Blake Farwell (Tuba) and Morgan Wittrock (Tenor Saxophone)

Choir:
Mikayla Dale, Alex Droste, Casey Greiman, Bridget Hansen, Maya Hoppes, Jaelynn Mentel, Preston Olson, Caitlyn Poppe, Brinkley Simmer, Rob Watson, and Clare Wetzel

Everyone did such an outstanding job and Hudson came away with SIX Allstate Choir members!!
