Jason Vieaux delivered an incredible program yesterday afternoon at Music from the Western Reserve. The audience was spellbound by the incredibly colorful program from Bach to one of Jason's very own compositions that came to him over the Covid lockdown. This powerhouse 12 piece swinging big band is based out of Akron, Ohio and is led by Ohio native and 20 year Las Vegas veteran trumpet artist, Dave Banks and features local Hudson vocalist Sandra Montevideo.

Job Description: Artistic Director & General Manager

An executive director of a chamber music organization in Hudson Ohio. Duties include both artistic direction in terms of selecting and contracting with local professional musicians in NE Ohio, as well as managing a non-profit organization. The later includes working with an active board of trustees, overseeing concert publicity, annual budget, concert programs and tickets, grants applications, volunteers and recording/sound engineer, concert sponsorship and fundraising among corporate and private sponsors. In addition, more recently MusicWR has been very successful with pre-concert artist interviews and post-concert artist receptions.

The job skill set includes:
Leadership – both musically and operationally
Broad knowledge of music
Ability to interact effectively with Cleveland Orchestra personnel and local college faculty and artists
Financial aptitude
Digital/social media skills
Local presence
