Continuing with the ceramic theme I seem to have started, the third artist we are looking at today is elements pairs nature inspired surface design with vibrant glazes to create functional and fun pieces. These pieces are incredibly light which adds to the overall feel and look of the piece. Above are two of their gingko plates, small gingko bowls and one of their trays.

For our second artist today we have TCC or Tiny Cloud Ceramics. Tiny Cloud works with brightly colored glazes and adorable surface designs to create beautiful pieces that (in the words of Michelle) “make me want to have a little of pitcher of milk sitting on my table”

The is Base Camp is family operated business which focuses on making functional ceramic pieces for the home. This piece is one of their wine tumblers and one of many pieces that uses/has peace signs on them. Base Camp utilizes many different design elements from shapes to keeping the ceramic bare to add texture and everything in between in order to create visually stunning and functional pieces.

Yesterday was one of those almost too good to be true wedding days. The weather was perfect, the venue was beautiful, vendors were hand selected to a t.
All completed by working with a bride whom with we really had a connection.
We loved every bit of working with her, especially the moment she and her sister leaned in to smell the bouquet. Freesia AND sweetpeas? It was incredible!
Wishing Phoebe and Corey all the best in their future together

Some weeks there is just so much to be grateful for you don't really know where to begin.
Today I've decided to start with my team.
This crew just pulled off three events, three summer plant installs, and two weddings(both weddings this week) in a seven day period of time.
No fighting (ok there were some moments of Wtf)
No bitterness
No drama
Tons of encouragement, laughter, singing and creating.
Surround yourself with what you want to see in the world, and that's what you'll see.
Here we grow again!
Missing from our photo is our prop guy Tyler and crew member Isla. We truly can't all be everywhere at once!

First up on our Saturday stroll through the gallery is Images in Bloom.

At first glance this looks like a big pile of soil. No big deal right?
This is our compost pile, created from flowers and greenery that couldn't be repurposed after events, clippings from processing, and DAILY sweeping of our floors and design areas.
It may not look important, but it's monumental to us, it means NONE of our floral waste is ending up in a landfill. It's all being repurposed for our floral farm. It might not be a huge impact on the overall effect of our industry but it's a step, and a step we are all so proud of.
This is the result of five years of overall labor (creating a working pile is A LOT of work and we already used a large amount the last couple years), and everyday dedication to removing plastic wrappers, rubber bands, and twist ties from the floor. We thought it was high time we share a little peek of all the progress.
We all stood back today and stared at our compost with big smiles on our faces...as only flower people would...
Extra special thanks to and our employee Cole for doing some serious back breaking work turning and separating everything today

Sometimes our job feels a bit bigger than we are. As we celebrate the many moments of joy in our client's lives, we are also here for the sorrow.

They focus on adding a little whimsical touch to every day items through candy colored ceramics with a 50’s-esque surface design.

Kay is a fiber artist that we have in our Red Twig Gallery and she has just brought in some of her birdhouses!
Kay makes a wide variety of pieces from felted clothes to birdhouses.
