There’s a bit of Maverick magic in every shot.

I’ve always been drawn to that timeless, fearless spirit of the ’80s...the art, the energy, that Top Gun sense of adventure.
From my pull room, I styled her in an oversized pair of aviators and a soft green suede jacket simple, effortless, and striking. Just a touch of lip gloss and the glow of golden light brought out her blue eyed sparkle, capturing a portrait that feels iconic and unforgettable.

I’m moving into a new luxury studio space that truly reflects the direction my heart and business have been growing toward. I’ll be alongside some of the most premier businesses in Hudson including the renowned Hartman Homes, a name known for craftsmanship and timeless design.

How’s it going?
It’s been going exactly where I’ve prayed, worked, and dreamed it would go—toward elevating your entire experience with Markfortography.
Toward beauty. Thoughtfulness. Legacy.
And toward heirloom products that are made to last and made to feel.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel the intention behind every detail. A spacious client closet that is now double the size of my current one. It will hold every hand-selected prop. Heated concrete floors provide warmth and comfort, while a cozy coffee bar and private bathrooms add ease and comfort to the experience. And toward the back of the space, you’ll find one of my favorite aesthetically pleasing features… A custom-built archway that frames the lounge area. It’s a sculptural detail that not only adds warmth and flow to the space, but also serves as a quiet, elevated viewing area where clients will relax, watch me work, and later sit to relive their session through a beautiful image reveal and guided sales experience.

But the part I’m most excited for?
The gallery wall.
I’ll be displaying my art on the finest handcrafted products from Italy. These pieces are intentionally lit with gallery-style lighting, allowing you to see every detail up close—and imagine what they could look like in your own home.

This isn’t just a move—it’s a transformation.
It’s a new season.
And it’s been designed with you in mind.

When I step into a photoshoot, I immerse myself in the scene, aiming to create a narrative that feels as real as it looks. To me that’s so important.

I’ve noticed some photographers place subjects in elegant gowns against rugged backdrops like this crashed airplane in the desert.

While pushing creative boundaries is valuable, I believe in ensuring every element aligns to tell a cohesive story. For this shoot, I chose attire that naturally blends with the environment, enhancing the authenticity of the moment.

By thoughtfully harmonizing wardrobe and setting, we can craft images that not only capture attention but also resonate deeply with viewers.
