One whole year since our “intern” died three times. And we brought him back with the power of prayer and positivity (and a s**t ton of crystals) - I’ll be the first to admit that this past season was executed with eyes wide shut healing from trauma but welcomed with so much joy. The beauty we created was unparalleled to what we’re capable of.

A Live Fire Farm to Table Dining Experience at Fowl Play Farm in Duxbury. On the third Sunday of each month, April - October, we’ll be gleaning the fields and the high tunnels for a hyper local feast anchored by an ethically raised local protein - We’re going rogue in July + August to give Farmer Brett a break from harvesting animals to focus on vegetables and flowers with Surf + Turf - A true taste of place each month that speaks to the season. Dinner. At a Table. On a Farm.

The tickets are currently deeply discounted for our early adopters until the new year - if you fancy yourself a physical gift card (pictured on the last slide) we can make that happen until 3 PM on Tuesday, 12/24.

Shots from the Show Open of Beyond The Wave - We are so grateful to the community who has come out to support this show - The Historic Works of Kevin Cole - at Afterglow Fine Art + Gallery last month! We are BLOWN AWAY with the impeccable work and turn around from our friends in Hanover The Frame Center - Thank you to Claude for capturing the start of the evening for us Under the Bridge amongst friendly faces and new friends.

The BEST PART: Is the Putt Putt for Free Art! Each day we’ll have a selection of works from the archives up for grabs. Currently if you can hit the hole from the rug and it shoots back at you, you can choose between The Moonlit Dory or any of Becky O’Toole’s Pieces under 20 x 40 - It’s not as easy as it looks! The rules are as many practice shots off the rug until you get your one shot. Want to keep trying? Get another shot for every $100 you spend in the Gallery. At 6:59 PM on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Jim snagged this epic shot of Powder Point Bridge - a relic in time before it get’s taken down. Some brought their own clubs, others requested a level for the floor but Jim? Jim had a Seventh Set + a Salty Snack, Took in the Entire Beyond the Wave Show, Had a Whale Watcher + a Ginger Snap and on or around 30 or so practice shots step to the rug and BOOM! Won the Art. Be like Jim, The Gallery right now is a whole vibe.

We wouldn’t be breathing Americans if we didn’t admit that the last few weeks of this election cycle has been rather draining, nerve-wracking and a tad bit draconian. Curating Beyond the Wave and pouring through Kevin Cole’s photos of The First Woman’s Lib March in Boston, an Intimate Chat between MLK Jr and America’s First Popular Vote Elected Black Senator, Edward Brooke, and countless images of Beatles Mania at The Boston Garden reminding us All We Need Is Love - has reminded us that hate certainly has no home here. While H COLE pays homage to a very lovely human that looks a lot like the other men on the South Shore - it is a woman owned company who found her way in the Boston culinary scene behind the stick of a q***r bar, was supported by a fiercely talented group of hard working hospitalitarians on Nantucket from Jamaica, Eastern Europe + Venezuela, learned how to fry chicken directly in the middle of gentrifying Charleston, SC where the socio-economic divide was (and is) still deep rooted in inherent racism, and crushed harvest amongst v v smart spanish speaking neighbors who fuel our domestic agricultural economy in Sonoma and Napa Counties - and who has had her life saved by access to safe and legally protected reproductive healthcare. Working on this Gallery Show alongside H COLE’s daughter, Judy, with the blessing of H COLE’s brother, Kevin has been humbling + inspiring - and a reminder of our very first terms and conditions for our first dinner series under the H COLE Brand:

All Hail the QUEENS! When the OG Captain of female owned business in the beverage industry reaches out for a corporate clambake in her stunning space, you take the call. For those who don’t know Rhonda Kallman, she is the force behind + + 🥃 - a champion of other women in the food + bev space.

While we knew off the cuff that Cold Fried Chicken and Lobsters were on the menu, our first call was to an equally-inspiring fellow entrepreneur who is on the same growth trajectory as us, in that space past start up but still in the why in the actual hell am I doing this phase - NISREEN from 🍦 Nisreen’s boozy ice creams as we like to call them are liquor infused custards that are hands down our favorite sweet treat. For this special moment we culled through the selections that already incorporated Rhonda’s spirits and wound up with this little perfect pairing - Putnam Rye Whiskey S’mores Ice Cream adorned with Ginger Grahams, Chocolate Ganache + Toasted Mallows. A princess pairing to celebrate our favorite gals. And it was 🔥🔥🔥

Wowie Wow Wow. We are over joyed and completely humbled to have been awarded Best Personal Chef Services in this year’s BOSS awards. To think our community took the time to vote for us is such a lovely feeling of support for this kooky little catering company.

Some notes on Personal Chef Services at H COLE: Every moment we produce is steeped in thought, intention + care. As such, we do not offer meal delivery or meal prep services. There are several other woman owned small businesses who do offer this and are incredible at what they do. You should support them, too! We’ll stay in our lane. What we do, do is talk with each and every client to get a vibe check on the overall goals of each and every event before we customize the menu + proposal based on venue constraints, dietary restrictions, seasonality etc. We’re your full service catering company sporting a private chef cape.

We are currently completely committed through the end of September (mind blown to be honest) and will be opening up our OND books on Wednesday, July 31st. All inquires absolutely must be submitted through the form on the home page on our website.
