This past week Legacy lost a very special student. Jonah Edwards was a loving and caring dancer with the most contagious smile...when Jonah walked in the room he would literally lite it up. Jonah was talented beyond measure and a true friend to everyone at the studio. Ironically it was that same smile that he would hide his pain behind. Jonah battled depression for many years. This past Wednesday our beloved Jonah ended his own life. Depression is a real illness that needs to be treated as such. Listen to those that are hurting because you never know what one kind gesture could mean to a hurting soul. We as a society can do better! We will always love you Jonah!
