I remember when I first started building the idea of The Fern. I felt overwhelmed, unsure of where to even begin, and at times, I questioned if this was truly the path I wanted to take. If you’re feeling that same weight—know that I see you. You are not alone.🙏🏼

Lately, I know many of us have been carrying a lot, trying to push forward despite the uncertainty. If I could go back and talk to the version of myself who was filled with doubt, I would remind her of a few things. And today, I want to share those words with you, hoping they help you take the next step forward.💚

1️⃣ You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Every step, no matter how small, moves you closer to your vision.

2️⃣ Challenges don’t mean you’re on the wrong path—they’re part of the process. Growth comes from pushing through the discomfort.

3️⃣ You are capable of more than you think. The doubts will come and go, but what matters is that you keep showing up.

If you’re in a season of uncertainty, I hope you hold onto these reminders and keep going- Si se puede!💪🏼✨

So much has changed since I opened The Fern! 🙏🏼🌿 The things I would tell Brenda back then—“Everything is going to be okay. Business will come. This will all work out.” Doubt crept in often when I first opened my doors, and there were moments when I wondered if I had made the right decision.

But with time, hard work, and an incredible community behind me, The Fern has grown into more than I ever imagined. It’s not just a venue—it’s a space for dreams, celebrations, and connections.👏🏼🌱

For those who may not know, The Fern carries the legacy of three generations.👏🏼🤩 It started as my grandfather’s body shop, where he poured his hard work and dedication into serving the community. Later, it became Rogelio’s Body Shop, my dad’s business, where I grew up watching him work tirelessly to support our family. When my dad could no longer work, I knew in my heart I had to carry on that legacy in a way that honored them both, while creating something new for future generations.🥹💚

I transformed what was once my family’s body shop into The Fern, a space full of love, intention, and new beginnings. It’s more than just a venue—it’s a symbol of resilience, hard work, and the power of family.✨

Through the ups and downs, what kept us going was the passion for building a space where people could come together, celebrate, and create lifelong memories. The journey may have been difficult, but the joy we now see from our clients makes every challenge worth it.🙏🏼

This space is a reminder that even in the toughest times, perseverance and dedication can turn dreams into reality. From my grandfather, to my dad, to me—The Fern is a labor of love, a bridge between generations, and a place where community and celebration thrive.🌱🙌🏼
