It has come to my attention that this sweet couple is exactly one year away from their wedding today! I’ve known Riley and Dylan since the very beginning of their relationship. Who knew back in 8th grade that these two would make it through high school and college, all the way to engaged. I’m so happy for them and the future they have in store.

Not only did Nicola and Brett join their own lives together, they have become a lovely blended family including, Niki's three children and Brett's two sons and his adorable grandson! They had so many friends and family join them to celebrate, including Niki's father, sister and many other family members who came from England as well as Brett's sister and her family from North Carolina.

Some favorites from this past Saturday's wedding. Niki has been a friend for over 20 years and I was so excited to capture her special day as she joined her best friend Brett in marriage. I wish them both nothing but profound happiness for the rest of their days.

I’m just realizing I never posted photos from this engagement session! It was shortly after returning from 2 weeks in Ireland and I was super overwhelmed. I’m so sorry Lauren and Marlon! On this session, we hit downtown Milwaukee on the riverfront, followed by heading to the lake and a view of the skyline and ended at the bar these two had their first date. We had lots of laughs, some dancing, and I even got Lauren out on the rocks without killing herself! I can’t wait for their April wedding!

Doing some wedding editing and started getting the shakes so bad! Then I realized it’s 4 o’clock and I’ve yet to eat anything. When I get in an editing zone I tend not to move for several hours. Oops. 😬 Pretzel crisps and port wine cheese to the rescue!

I think surprise engagement sessions are my new favorite thing. The adrenaline rush of getting there in time, finding a spot without being conspicuous, the sheer joy and happiness in the moment. Bring a couple of adorable dogs too and I’m in heaven. Congratulations Brandon and Maria. Best wishes for a happy and beautiful life together!

Today marks the final day for the reigning Miss Huntley and Miss LITH. I hope they both enjoy their final walk on the stage before passing the crown. I wish I could be in two places at once but you will be in amazing hands with Jamie Christine Photos I can't wait to see who the new queens will be!
