Another Christmas open house is in the books, and what a special night.

To the incredible vendor team that helped pull this together, there aren’t enough thank yous to express how appreciative I am for you all. Huntsville is incredibly lucky to have so many talented, creative vendors and I’m thankful to be just a small part of it.

To those who took time to come, celebrate, and support in the middle of a hectic season, thank you times a million. I hope you all felt so loved and appreciated. This community is what it is because of you!

And most importantly, not only did we get to bring together the local wedding community, we got to do it all in honor of . Thanks to everyone in attendance and additional donors, we were able to raise over $1,000 for this incredible local ministry. As much as we love all the details, this is the part we’re most proud of.

What a way to head into our last wedding of the year next week. Merry Christmas, friends ❤️

Gallery delivery for The Heltons seemed like the perfect time to highlight their September day from our 2024 season 🫶🏼

A bold and bright reception followed by a classic ceremony was the perfect way to highlight Chandler and Anderson’s personalities.

So grateful to have had the opportunity to spend their engagement season with them. The sweetest Mother of The Bride with an incredible eye for the details was just the cherry on top!

As we begin to wrap up 2024, it felt appropriate to highlight the stories we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of this year, starting with Lexi and Adam’s February day at The Space and Rocket Center.

This was probably one of our funnest designs to date and we loved the challenge of transforming a 70,000 square foot space into something intimate. Guests moved between spaces throughout the night, each providing their own experience. Between the unique blooms, unexpected details, and dinner under Saturn V, it’s hard to pick a favorite part.

Happy Thanksgiving from my little family to yours! We have so much to be thankful for this year.

To our couples - thank you, thank you, thank you for trusting us to be a part of such a special season of life. Not only am I thankful for your support to make this dream a reality, but also the friendships we’ve formed along the way.

To the vendors we’ve had the opportunity to work with - a simple thank you just doesn’t feel like enough. None of our plans or designs are possible without every single one of you. Florists, stationers, HMUAs, caterers, rentals, venues, bakers, caterers, bartenders, DJs, bands, and the many in between, you are the rockstars that make it all happen. This industry can easily become emotionally and physically taxing but I’m so proud getting to watch you serve our clients so well, weekend after weekend.

To my team - I just couldn’t or wouldn’t want to do this without you. This year has required a lot of long hours and time away from families but you show up time and time again, ready and willing to work hard with plenty of laughter along the way. I truly hit the lottery with you guys 🤍

And finally, my family and friends - I don’t think there’s an adequate way to describe my appreciation for you all. I just dearly love and appreciate each one of you, especially my husband who has sacrificed more than anyone but is always the first to remind me he’s in my corner, no matter what. Your encouragement, support, and willingness to jump in and help has truly gotten me through the last few years of getting CBE up and running.

I also know holidays look different for everyone. There are so many with stories of loss, struggle, and hardships, making this time of the year challenging. We see you and love you. Use this as a reminder to love above all, a simple act of kindness can ripple more than you know.

Hi friends! A little bit of a personal update as we head into the end of the year, making our schedule and office hours a little inconsistent.

I have been OOO for the last several days in DC but will be returning tomorrow, 11/25. With it being Thanksgiving week, we will have shorter office hours tomorrow and Tuesday, then completely OOO again beginning Wednesday (11/27) through Sunday (12/01).

We hit the ground running again in December with our final two weddings of 2024 and a large Christmas party. Following this, we will be OOO from 12/21-01/06, taking some much needed time off after an incredibly amazing but busy year.

All that to say, we are working incredibly hard to wrap up loose ends over the next month. But, as we head into the holidays, response times may be slower and availability a little more limited.

Going into 2024, we knew this year was going to be busier than most, requiring a lot of sacrifice and time away from family and friends. Because of this, we’re looking forward to prioritizing rest and time with our people over the next several months, but not before we give the rest of our year everything we have.

And 2025, you are looking to be really, really special. So much goodness to come, my friends.

There’s so much I could say but I’ll leave it at this: the first clip of this video just really hits me in the feels. I’m no where near perfect, and I learn a new lesson every single day, but those first few seconds are what I’m most proud of. The best design, timeline, or accolade could ever top the relationships we form with our clients.

Two whole years of CBE (!!!), I can hardly believe it. When I think about this last year, all I can think is “all in”. I took the leap and went full-time planning, leaving the safety of my corporate career behind, brought on two incredible team members, dug deep to establish our brand, added 20+ weddings to our portfolio, worked with THE kindest couples, and made some really valued friendships along the way. It hasn’t always been perfect, but it has always felt right. When you know, you know. And I just know there’s no where I’d rather be than right here. Year two was one for the books, but something tells me year three may top it. Ready to bring you all along for the ride 🤍

Between all of the TikTok advice and Pinterest DIYs, are you wondering if a planner is actually, REALLY worth it? If it’s within budget, we obviously give it a resounding yes, and think your vendor team would agree. We get to share a lot of really beautiful things on our feed, but the hours behind the scenes to make it happen don’t ever make the cut. So, what all are we really doing leading up to wedding day? 1.) Vendor selection and management - recommending and securing not just any vendor, but those that we truly think are a good fit for the couple and vision and we trust to provide the highest quality of service. 2.) Budget management - with those vendors comes payments, which all impact your budget. We pay careful attention to this aspect, being strategic with where funds are allocated while keeping our clients priorities top of mind. 3.) Vision realization - taking a Pinterest/mood board full of multiple aesthetics, wishes, and ideas and pulling them together into cohesive, unique design board is our specialty. With almost fifty events under our belt, we’ve never created the same look twice. 4.) Timeline creation - the timeline is the foundation of your day and it’s important that it’s detailed, intentional, and comprehensive. 5.) Guest management - someone has to manage seating arrangements, accommodations, and transportation, and it shouldn’t have to be you. 6.) Problem management - problems are going to arise throughout planning, it’s unavoidable! BUT, it’s our job to anticipate and mitigate those issues before they arise, providing solutions quickly so you can get back to engagement bliss. 7.) Ceremony and reception execution - yeah, those design boards are great but someone needs to be in your corner, making sure it’s executed to expectation. Measurements, delivery times, and the flip schedule aren’t things that need to be top of mind for you! And most importantly, number 8.) Being your biggest support system and cheerleader - whatever
