Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Erin Owen, and I am the owner and event stylist/designer at NellAnne Events. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and soon after began working at the University of Alabama System. During my almost four years there, I had the opportunity to plan and design corporate events such as annual risk management conferences, legislative receptions, and other meetings. In addition to planning professional events, I also began hosting Supper Club dinner parties, which I threw my creative energy into planning, truly inspiring my love of event planning and design. It took me 10 years of loving this crazy, chaotic thing called event planning and numerous friends and family members asking “why don’t you do this professionally?” to finally take the leap and begin NellAnne Events.
NellAnne specializes in planning, styling, and designing corporate events, fundraisers, and parties (ranging from children’s birthday parties to garden parties). While the first type of event most think of when they hear event planner is a wedding, I am leaving wedding planning/design/styling to the true heroes who love and thrive off planning the most important day of a couple’s lives.
