Just wrapped our 2024 year of weddings and I can’t even begin to describe the gratitude I feel. It was by and far my best year yet for this business in so many ways. Cant believe I am almost 9 years in and there are still so many things I want to see and do with this floral business! I am SO proud of the work we did for our couples this year. I am also excited to rest and take a step back from flowers like I do each winter so I can dive into the ways we can get better for next year and start dreaming up some beauty for all of our amazing 2025 couples. I have so many people to thank:
To my team of freelancers - thank you for all of the long hours, lifting heavy things, cuts/bruises, and loading/unloading a million box trucks. You guys are the real MVPs. Endlessly grateful for how hard you work to make my visions come to life. Could not do it without you (and wouldn’t want to).
To my couples - thank you for trusting me to create beauty for you on one of the most special days in your lives! I do not take that privilege lightly. I was treated with so much respect, trust, and kindness this year and I mean it when I say I have the best clients ever. Each and every wedding was my favorite in one way or another.
To my vendor friends - this business is tough but I feel so lucky to have all of you in my life to commiserate, laugh, and sometimes..to laugh to keep from crying with. Planner friends, photog friends, florist friends - you all mean the world to me and so glad this industry allowed me to meet you. Collaborating with all of you is such a joy.
To my support system - husband, my mom/mother in law, sister, and everyone in between - thanks for allowing me to do what I love and grow this business while also helping me raise my daughter. Truly TRULY couldn’t do it without you all.
