We always learn a lot on PSA Day here at the station. Your donations to WLRH help pay for your favorite programs and allow us to provide free, on-air announcements for local non-profits through our Public Service Announcement program. On Saturday, October 21st at 7 PM, the Huntsville Community Chorus Association student choirs will present their concert entitled âMusic Feeds Your Soulâ at First United Methodist Church on Greene Street in Huntsville. This concert features the three student choirs: Children, Treble and Youth Chorales, singing joyous music that raises our spirits!
Master Gardeners of Limestone County, Alabama Fall Plant Show is Saturday, October 21st, 8 AM - 12 PM, at the greenhouse behind Athens Middle School. Mums, perennials and shrubs will be available.
There's magic in the air! Studio 60 Senior Center and Huntsville Magic Club bring The Magic Show - a family-friendly event on Saturday, October 21st, with two shows - 2 & 6 PM. Prepare to be amazed and delighted by these illusions that will leave you wondering, "How did they DO that?" This event supports STUDIO 60's Center for Adult Day Care Program.
The International Society of Huntsville - IFEST and community representatives from several nations present the Annual International Festival of North Alabama, from 10 AM - 3 PM, on Saturday, October 21st in the Jaycees Building. Open to the public, the iFest features international foods and displays, performers, and childrenâs activities.
Witches return for the second annual Madison Witches Ride on Sunday, October 22nd at 3 PM outside the Madison City Stadium. This fun, 1-mile bike parade features local witches riding their broom-bikes, spreading Halloween cheer and treats to children. After the witches fly, you can stay for the block party and pet parade at HomePlace Park. Costumes encouraged and concessions available. Proceeds benefit the Madison City Splashpad Fund.
