Hello SK friends!!!!

I know it has been awhile since we’ve posted. It’s been pretty quiet around here. Below are pics of our last wedding for SK Floral/SK Designs. After much discussion with the Lord, prayers and tears, I’m surrendering to the Lord’s lead to close Sweet Karoline’s Floral at the end of the month.

I have trusted the Lord with our business from day 1 of getting the phone call about taking it over from Carra. We have let Him lead us so well. These past 6 years have been some of the absolute best and hardest times of my life and faith. I know in the depths of my soul that the Lord has a plan in all of this. The word that He gave me at the beginning of this year was simplify. Boy, has He shown me what that looks like for our lives. We’ve slowed down a lot so that I can focus more on my babies (who aren’t really babies anymore) and enjoy this time with them.

I’m so incredibly grateful for all the people who came into my life and help make SK Floral what it is today. Every customer who became a friend, and believed in our vision of community helped me to see the Lord’s bigger purpose in a business. I am forever thankful for every hug, person who prayed with or over me, let me return prayers, supported my family through purchases or recommendations and the love given to us by the Huntsville community. We LOVED serving you these past six years. I am most grateful for the people that the Lord brought into my life to help me run the business. Every single person made an impact on me and the shop in some way. I have gained an amazing friend who I will always treasure, grown closer to my husband, and seen young ladies grow in their passion and skills for the floral industry. I pray the Lord blesses each and every one of you.

We will see you around town, so please say hi and give a hug if you want! Our family will continue to serve our Huntsville community just in different ways. Much love and gratitude to each of you!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, friends!!!

Thank you for hanging in there with us through all the changes that 2024 brought our way!! We are looking forward to what The Lord has in store for us in 2025!

We are starting the year off with two weddings that I can’t wait to bring to life!! Stay tuned for pics of those. We are booking weddings and events for this year! Let us know how we can help you or refer us to someone you know!!

Prayers that 2025 is all that you need and want it to be! I feel like a lot of us need a better year than 2024. It wasn’t the kindest in some ways. I’m thankful for the changes the Lord brought our way, and look forward to how He uses them!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

This Christmas season has been one of my faves so far with the kids. More intentional with sharing Jesus and scripture of why we celebrate and less of the world. As we go about today, I pray for slow rhythms and peace for each of you and yours. That you see Jesus in everything and have a generous spirit and it follows you into 2025.

I feel as I get older, I reflect so much more. Reflect over the year that is almost over and the one to come. Reflect over God’s blessings and refining, what He has in store for us, what He is changing in our lives or has changed. This year has been a year of change again. I feel like five years ago we did this big change/move and here we are again. I’ve learned from the Lord, that He has to grow us and refine us in small ways, to prepare us for the bigger changes for growth and refinement. My heart and soul is ready come what may of 2025. I know He has our best interest at heart and will be with us whatever may come. So, cheers 🥂to closing 2024 with His peace and love and to 2025 for what He has in store!

We entered Advent season full throttle but excited to celebrate the arrival of our Savior. Delivering poinsettias, celebrating our Zane’s 9th birthday, attending all the Christmas activities, SHSU Christmas parties, Lions Club parade…any many more to come! I pray we don’t lose sight of the true meaning and blessing of this busy season/month.

As we inch closer to 2025, know that we are here for weddings and events! We continue to love serving the Huntsville (and surrounding) community!
