Well, it is a wrap. The VIP Event ended in the Murder of Alex Jade. There wasn't a soul at the Event that had anything good to say about Alex. The saying, "What goes around, comes around..." could not be more true! And he certainly gave many reasons to make a lot of people upset with him. But none more than, Parson Golden, the Sin City Slayer.

It was a night of high stakes blackjack and craps, many secretive conversations over a drink in the bar, and downright threats!

A great time was had by those that attended. We appreciate your participation and willingness to mingle and mine for clues. The attire was spot on for the characters involved.

did amazing job on the food. The staff was always bringing something new and delicious to graze on throughout the evening.

We also appreciate the assistance of many others who helped make the evening amazing! And the many businesses that donated prizes.

Doors are closing tonight for the biggest event in town. A Vegas Murder Mystery is happening tomorrow night. A VIP event at the Cosmo's Resort and Casino, aka Top Floor.

The plot is thickening for A Vegas Murder Mystery. Who is the Victim and Who Done It? The evening will be one of threats, blackmailing, boisterous claims of talent, Mafia connections, and promises that will likely not be kept.

The red carpet will reveal the players dressed to the nines! The best food and drinks in the town will be served. Those who were lucky enough to secure a place at the VIP Party at the Cosmo Resort and Casino will be the envy of everyone. Maybe that is why the Sin City Slayer makes these events his/her prime target. He/She is never invited and they wait patiently in the shadows for the perfect moment to strike.

No worries if gambling and drinking is not your pleasure. People watching should be enough to satisfy your entertainment palette for the evening as Wylean Black gets into action as the most scandalous journalist in Vegas. Or Roy Almsteed, the upcoming Police Lieutenant, tries to stay out of the limelight as his connections with the shady side of town heats up. And of course, you have the always beautiful Ren Peach, a daytime soap opera, who doesn't quit with the drama when she leaves the set.

All in all, there are 55 colorful characters in A A Vegas Murder Mystery. That is a lot of moving parts. Who is going to be the Victim? How will it happen? Where will it happen? Why will it happen? And of course, who will do the dirty deed?

We promise to post pictures AFTER the big event so you can live vicariously through those who took the plunge and joined the Vegas Murder Mystery.

Every industry has it's own special vocabulary. I am positive some of this terminology will be heard this Saturday night at the VIP event at the Cosmo Resort and Casino - aka Top Floor Events. This is where the biggest VIP event will be taking place. If you haven't reserved your tickets for Saturday night, it isn't too late. It is going to be killer of a good time.

Action: Total sum of all wagers. Also refers to gambling activities in general.

Bankroll: Amount of money a player comes to the casino with to be used strictly for placing bets. A term also used by casino workers referring to the amount of money stocked at a game table before the start of a shift.

Bad Paper: Checks written by players that are not honored at the player’s bank due to insufficient funds.

Barber Pole: A wager made using a stack of various chips. (The alternating colors of the different chips resemble a barber’s pole.)

Book/Bookie: A “book” refers to an establishment or special area of a casino that accepts wagers on the outcome of sporting events and races. A “bookie” is a person who collects and pays off the bets that are made.

Boxman or Boxperson: Dealer who supervises the bank at a craps game. This employee monitors the payoff amounts and deposits money into the drop box.

Change Colors: Exchanging one set of casino chips for another, such as turning in a $5 chip for five $1 chips. Dealers call this changing colors because chips are recognized more readily by their color than by the amounts marked on the top of them. Some of the standard colors for casino chips include white for $1, red for $5, green for $25, and black for $100.

Double Down: Term used in blackjack meaning to double the original bet. The player then receives one additional card.

Floorperson: Casino employee who helps supervise the dealers at gaming tables and watches for any problems or irregularities.

Galloping Dominoes: What casino workers and gamblers jokingly call dice.

George: What dealers in Las Vegas call a good tipper. Also someone who makes bets on the dealer’s behalf.

Even if you don't know how to gamble or you don't want to gamble, A Vegas Murder Mystery offers Bingo and great food. And most of all, 4 hours of great entertainment!

Can you feel the excitement in the air? Do you hear the jets flying in? Do you see the limo's rolling down the Strip? Yes! The guests are beginning to arrive for the VIP party at the Cosmo Casino.

And even with all the anticipation of the biggest poker game that Vegas has ever seen, there are alot of very nervous people! The Sin City Slayer has not been apprehended. And he has done his nasty deed at every VIP event in Vegas in the past 18 months!

Does that mean he or she is one of the attendees? Or is the Sin City Slayer someone who has a grudge and is hiding in the many shadows of the Las Vegas nights?

You won't know unless you join us at the Cosmo Resort and Casino this coming Saturday night at 7:00 pm. February 11th. Tickets are still available for the lower stakes tables. Don't worry, you won't have to get caught up in the Murder Mystery. Just come and watch and gather your own clues as to "Who Done It!"

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

So the list of attendees at A Vegas Murder Mystery is growing. And it is really getting interesting!

Would you believe Poker Alice, known for smoking ci**rs and generally being a badass and a professional gambler has reserved a place at the high stakes table? And then there is Giacomo.
Casanova. Giacomo's two priorities in life are womanizing and gambling. Dangerous combination! And then there is Parson Golden, a real rags to riches story about a poor orphan who not only made a mark in the fashion industry, but can play a mean hand of cards.

There is still room at some of the lower stakes tables, so if you are interested in playing, now is the time to make your reservations. Here is an opportunity to rub elbows with the likes of Alex Jade, a Hollywood icon or Ren Peach, whose mug can be seen in almost every grocery store check out line.

Oh, no! You missed the registration for A Vegas Murder Mystery. I am so sorry! I know you were feeling the nudge to sign up but something was holding you back.

Maybe you have never been to an event like this before and you were just nervous about participating. What if you made a fool out of yourself?

First of all, you can't do anything wrong. The goal is just to have fun. Remember when you were little and you dressed up and played like you were someone else? Well, this is the same thing! Just be a kid again!

But if you just can't make yourself participate, but you really want to see how this works, you can still come. Yes, you can still come and play the games, eat the food, and dress up! You just don't have to participate in A Vegas Murder Mystery.

For the next five days, we are opening reservations up just for those who wish to attend but not participate. You get all the goodies and all the fun! So tell me, what is holding you back now?

Two days and counting until doors close for the biggest party we have all been waiting for. Do you have your reservations yet? There is still room. You will not want to miss this! Have no regrets!

There will be games, food, and tons of fun! Seriously, what else would you do in this freezing weather that could be this much fun? Of course, you could fly somewhere warm. You could do a Polar Plunge. You could just go out for dinner and see a movie. All reasonable choices. BUT - those options will not compare to this! There are individuals still talking about Murder Mystery Dinners we hosted four years ago!

What can you expect? Well, first of all, it isn't just the night of the party, it is everything leading up to the big event. The anticipation of "Who Done It" because there will be so many reasons why he or she should be the one!

Have you made your reservations for "Vegas" yet? There are only about 10 days left before the doors close and we get ready for take off.

10 days? But the party doesn't begin until the 11th of February!

Oh, but the fun actually begins way before that! You see, once you register, we begin collecting information about you. And we begin aligning you with your role in the A Vegas Murder Mystery.

Each day, beginning February 2, you will receive instructions to do something in preparation for the big day. You MUST follow through. We are all depending on you.

Remember, it is Cocktail attire. If you don't have the appropriate attire, check out in Huron. Black Tie has an assortment of gowns on consignment. Also, check out gowns donated to local shops such as Salvation Army or Goodwill. The more Bling the better. :)

We promise, this event will be one of the most memorable events of 2023 you will participate in.

Each guest will receive two drink tickets and $1000 in cold "heart" cash with which to gamble. More "heart" cash is available to purchase should your luck run out.

Have you ever attended a Murder Mystery event? Let me tell you - they are a hoot! It is three hours of adult fun.

For the Vegas Murder Mystery, the plot is thrilling! Who did the "Dirty Deed?" Will it be you or someone you know? Or will it be a total surprise to everyone?

And then there is the food - a series of Horderves will be served throughout the evening. A bar is available with your favorite beverages.

There is more.... the games between the clues ..... there will be a Bourbon Tasting Event, there will be relays, and other great challenges.

And to top it off, there are prizes! Prizes for Best Actor & Actress, for Best Dressed, and prizes you can "buy" with your "Heart Money."

Mark your calendar for Saturday, February. Tickets are $125 per couple.

The event is limited to 50 couples. You can choose to play an active part in A Vegas Murder Mystery or watch from the Sidelines. Everyone will enjoy an evening of anticipation and fun.

Cocktail attire is required for those attending the event.

The most highly anticipated VIP party is Vegas is almost here! The Top Floor is set to host a world class soiree for celebrities, news media, and a few Huron locals that were lucky enough to score tickets. Some of the most prominent figures of our times will be in attendance, and this will be a night to remember.

However, there is a situation. Our community has been terrorized by a serial killer with an MO of attending VIP events held on the strip. The killer, known as "The Sin City Slayer", chooses victims from unsuspecting party guests. The Huron Police are currently working with federal agencies to catch this deranged predator.

Hopefully, the killer doesn't have a ticket to the party!
