Magic, magic, magic. I could say that 1000 times about this session and I probably will, lol, because from beginning to end it was magic. ❤️
There is something so incredibly special, a literal shift that I can feel happen when a family goes from “okay, we’re here to take photos” to “wait, am I actually enjoying myself?” When you lean into whatever’s happening, trust, and let go of expectations, everyone starts relaxing, laughing, playing, and just being together. Suddenly it doesn’t feel like a chore anymore.
I know that’s sometimes easier said than done, especially when you’ve put so much into getting your whole family to Hawaii and you want to make sure you get all the photos. But the best thing you can do is let go, have fun, and trust me to take it from there.
These were actually taken during the short time I had with this family during their larger extended family session, and we definitely made the most of it. I can’t wait to share more because there was SO SO much goodness!
Between these moments and the type of sunset photographers dream about my heart was so full. 😭
