The Hustisford Community Hall (formerly Firemen's Hall) has been a landmark for Hustisford since 1936. In January 2015 a meeting was held to decide how to move forward, as the Fire Department did not have the time to run it. People talked about all of the memories that they had of dances, weddings, etc. The Village of Hustisford decided to purchase the Hall from the Fire Department and in turn lea

se it to the newly formed Hall Association Committee. We elected a board of directors, officers and various committees to bring back the Hall to the thriving establishment it once was. We started with no money in our account, monthly bills still coming in. We have had donations from some of the businesses in the surrounding area but are facing a lot of repairs and replacement of equipment, new heating and cooling system, roof repair just to name a few of the larger items. The Hall Association Committee is in the process of becoming a 501©3 non-profit. We are accepting donations of time, talents and monetary gifts. We will be having many fund raisers in the near future, so Like our page so you can keep apprised of all the fun events we are cooking up! For rental information contact Deb Whalen

What. A. Night. THANK YOU to the 137 folks that came to play BINGO tonight! So. Much. Fun. We gave out $1680 in prize money tonight! We had a couple of helpful suggestions, but overall I think it's safe to say that our first Bingo Night at the Hall was a huge success. We already can not wait until next month!

If you’ve heard of Hustisford, you’ve most likely heard of Hildebrandt Family Farms….which has been a staple of the community since 1960, and more recently a supplier of milk for producing Prairie Pure Cheese. This month we welcome VIPs Roger and Fay, and their sons Brett and Ty and their families . . . the 2nd and 3rd generation Hildebrandts leading the farm. It’s such a treat to drive past the property and see their beautiful herd living their best life out in the pasture. The Hall, and many other local organizations, has been on the receiving end of their generosity several times over the years. (I personally have been gifted a few blocks of Butterkase cheese, which is my FAVORITE. Have a grilled cheese sandwich at one of many HHS sporting events and you will understand why!)

Roger & Fay and family . . . we hope you enjoyed brunch on us - a small token of our appreciation for all you do for the community.

Our silent auction winners this month we would also consider VIPs in their own right! It was a pleasure to serve Christi & Ken Poppe, daughter Annber, son Anthony & wife Rayanne. Ken's carpentry talents can be found throughout the Hall in the form of paint and trim work and sturdy under-the-bar shelving. He also helped out as assistant bar manager for several years. There's been many an occasion where Christi could be found behind the bar too. Her clean-up skills are unmatched and very much appreciated! Not to mention that a few years ago when our kitchen license was about to expire, Christi stepped up and kept us legit. Thanks so much for coming. (pictured with HCH bar manager, Laura)

Our VIPs this month were Bob and Sue Stumpner and their guests Diane Qualman and Jerry Kemmel. Bob and Sue have lived in the Hustisford area for over 20 years. They have lived on Lake Sinissippi for all those years. They are the former owners of the Camera Case in Hartford and other locations. Bob and Sue have been very generous supporters of the Hustisford Community Hall initially purchasing many of the wood carvings we had at our Pig Roasts, and a Huge Donation for the upstairs bathrooms which were so needed. At our 1st Pig Roast Bob tried his hand at singing karaoke, needless to say he hasn’t done it since! We are so grateful for Bob and Sue and their continued support of the Hustisford Community Hall. Welcome to our newest bartender "training" with our assistant bar manager, Alex.. You might recognize the lovely Jenny Dietz because she is no stranger to The Hall. However, she is usually on the "receiving" side of the bar or the dance floor. Welcome to the dark side, Jenny! ❤️
