We loved being apart of the BrightHouse Kansas and Hutchinson Police Department event. This was a special event that put awareness on consent and abuse. We want to give a BIG thank you for having us.

Also want to say thank you to Miss Kansas for speaking on the subject. It takes a lot to stand up and talk about personal experiences. She a good role model and young adults can learn a lot from her. Thank you for being light for anyone who is going through these experiences.

Since I started my Dj journey. It was always a dream of mine to play at the Kansas State Fair. I want to thank Charlies Wine & Beer Garden and Carrie’s Beer Garden for getting with 620 In The Mix. It was such a good time! Also I want to thank everyone who came out and supported Saturday night. Make sure to go follow these businesses for future events. We’ll be back next year!

We are so excited for Hispanic Heritage Month!

Today’s proclamation for Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) is a testament to the work of our community leaders. We’d like to share a few words spoken at this evening’s city council meeting by our Executive Director:

“I am so excited to be here to honor Hispanic Heritage Month with all of you. Though we honor it year-round, it’s important to note that from September 15 to October 15, it is nationally recognized across our country to celebrate and honor the contributions, histories, and cultures of our Mexican, Spanish, Caribbean, Central American and South American communities.

September 15th marks Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras' Independence Day. Mexican Independence Day is September 16th and Chile's Independence Day is September 18th. Día de la Raza is on October 12th. Hispanic Heritage Month is a reminder to all of us that we are a country with diverse traditions thanks to the communities that have kept our heritage alive, generation after generation.
