We are an independent event coordinating and design and style company based out of Hutchinson Minnesota. We have coordinated everything from 10 person private dinner parties to 900 guest event fundraisers. Weddings, Corporate Events, Galas, Open house celebrations, Retirement, Graduation, and Birthday parties. We can customize our services to fit your needs. What a gorgeous day to get married at the Crow River Winery!
The Cottage Farmhouse stands out as one of our areas most beautiful venues, offering a picturesque setting for your special day. Last fall, Maddie and Mitch’s celebration highlighted the venue’s breathtaking landscapes and warm atmosphere. We loved working with this couple to design one of our favorite fall weddings ever.

The end of an era. After 10 years of traveling all over for weddings, we did our last out of town wedding at the gorgeous in Hastings. Though we will miss exploring new destinations, we look forward to focusing on showcasing Art’s Place and our partner venues in the Hutchinson area as wedding destinations. 🤍

So, a lot of you have been asking what will happen to Compass Occasions and when I (Valerie here) takes my new job as Hutchinson Chamber President.
Simply put, nothing. 😊
Kayla and I anticipate continuing business as usual with both Compass Occasions and Art’s Place. Honestly, we think it will be better than ever as we promote the vibrant spirit of our favorite city at our one of a kind event venue.
