One of the things I’d love to figure out is how to reduce 4-6 bags of garbage after every event. Much of the trash is due to disposable dishware and cups. Our venue already offers our ivory place settings including silverware, linen napkin, and standard glass or wine glass at $4/person. This cost helps cover the cost of the dishware and the cleaning of all of it for the next use. Unfortunately, most guests decide to buy disposable instead which I’m estimating still comes out to about the same price per person(?).

What recommendations do you have for increasing the use of non-disposable dishware thus reducing trash? Suggestions please!
