Happy New Year from Club Zoltar!

2021 was a transitional year for sure! We moved from Oroville, CA to Idaho Falls, ID in June. Even after moving, I drove back and forth to California several times to DJ at several weddings that I had contracted before the move was planned.

Overall, I DJ'd 16 events in 2021 (all weddings) and I am looking forward to booking events here in Idaho!

I'll keep the pictures and updates coming and I truly appreciate each and every one of my friends, family members and past clients that continue to like and follow this page. Your continued support means everything to me! Thank you all so much!!

Happy New Year everyone! It's been pretty quiet here the last several weeks. I still want to give an end of the year report and give a huge THANK YOU! to all of my clients, friends and family for all of your support this year.

I had 29 events scheduled for 2020 - 14 of them were cancelled or postponed due to 2020 having it's way. Of the 15 remaining events...

I have 11 events on the books for 2021 so far. Here's to wishing for no cancelations! 🥂

With almost 3 weeks until my next scheduled event, lets have some fun today!

I'll randomize my entire music library and list the first 5 songs that come up and describe what I like about the song and how often it gets played at my gigs.

1. Always Something There to Remind Me by Naked Eyes - A super fun song that is a must play for any 80's set!

2. What's Simple is True by Jewel - A really pretty song off her Spirit album. I've never played it at a gig though.

3. Gee Whiz by Carla Thomas - One of my hundreds (thousands?) of 50's and 60's oldies songs.

4. Johnny B. Goode (cover) by George Thorogood - The absolute best cover version of this amazing song! If you've not heard it, you need to do that now! Often played at my gigs

5. You're the Boss by Brian Setzer and Gwen Stefani - A fun jazzy number with horns, bass, all the goodies! One of my favs, but I've never played it at a gig.

A super fun NYE party at the Oroville Inn! It was really cool to play 1920's music for the first hour or so then crank it into high gear for a 3-hour dance party! So much fun for everyone!!!
