When we were in the heart of not the uncertainty of Holden’s outcome when I was pregnant, these two sent us delicious cookies. I’m headed back to Paradise Valley this weekend and thought I should bring back the love these two share. She’s a winter queen ❄️ I walked down the aisle to Tennessee Whiskey and I have no regrets. My husband walked down the aisle to a song by an obscure band called Harvey Milk and I think it’s what everyone remembers the most from our wedding, besides the drunken best man speech. No one forgot that.

My senior year of high school, as I entered history class a fellow student asked me if I thought I was a witch. I assumed she asked because my favorite color to wear was all black, everyday. I knew she was making fun of me so I played into her joke, gave her some wiggly fingers, said boo, and walked out of class. I don’t think the teacher even noticed. I still wear mostly black, with pops of color here and there. I am, in fact, not a witch but I certainly like witchy things. I’m still just as sassy and have no time for people who are mean to others for the sake of a few laughs. I’ve always thought that story was funny so I thought I’d share it. Here are a couple other things about me, since I haven’t done an intro in a very very long time:

- I have two boys, a husband, and two naughty dogs. All boys. I’m still in charge 😉

- I love music, I play what matches my mood, but lately sad country music is my jam.

- I do CrossFit daily and I love to lift heavy things

- I’m 12 years sober, best decision of my life

- I’ve been a photographer for 25 years. My background is in documentary photography. I worked at a couple newspapers before I started my own business.

- I have a phobia of gum

- Indian food is my favorite

- hygge vibes

- I collect bones and skulls because they’re cool

Sub freezing temps didn’t stop these two from getting hitched. Andrea drew my blood a few weeks ago. I told her I am a photographer and she said she was eloping in a few weeks. Love these magical ways of crossing paths. ❄️❄️❄️

If you don’t like Bob Dylan, we can’t be friends, sorry. Just kidding, kind of…. I finally got to see the new biopic last weekend and I was blown away. It was so well done. I’ve seen Bob Dylan a couple times and admired his songwriting and persona growing up. He’s just such a cool guy, won’t detract from himself. Anyway, if you’re a Bob Dylan fan, please go see the movie. It’s way too good.

Just a girl and her cowboy

My little cousin drove all the way down to Idaho from eastern Montana to do his senior photos with me. Afterward we all spent time together at a cabin in the woods, reminiscing and making up for lost time. So thankful to have a supportive family and create milestones for them.
