Hello Film makers,

Saturday is the big day! We have an exciting day planned and look forward to screening your films. The schedule will go as follows:

10:00 am – 3:00 pm Cinematography workshop (lunch will be provided). On stage of the arts auditorium.

3:00 pm-5:30 pm Break / Crew setup

5:30 pm Limo ride, followed by red carpet and photos (we encourage you to dress up for this portion of the evening, but it is not required.)

6:30 pm Screening of the films and awards

Immediately following the screening and awards there will be an after party with Hor d’Oeuvres.

We have several entries that have turned in their film but NOT paid their entry fee or submitted an entry form to [email protected] -- we cannot consider your film until we have all three! BIG ANNOUNCEMENT— the Kiwanis Teen Film Festival is being rebranded as the IDAHO TEEN FILM FESTIVAL under new management by the East Idaho Falls Rotary Club!

After 19 years of strong stewardship by the Kiwanis Club, we thank Director and the numerous volunteers for their commitment to the festival over the years and are thrilled that the Rotary Club has agreed to continue Steve Parry’s original vision from 2004 to provide a place for teen filmmakers in Idaho to showcase their creative talents… and carry the festival into its 20th year!!

We are still figuring out the details of this exciting next chapter but are pleased to announce the Festival will be held on May 4 2024 at Hillcrest High School in Idaho Falls.

The official rules will be posted on the new website soon — idahoteenfilmfestival.com — but for now, we expect the format of the festival will be similar to years past.

Films will be submitted by a TBD time in April, then there will be a filmmakers workshop and screening on the 4th. There will be prizes for category winners and a grand prize as well as giveaways on premiere night. More exciting details to come soon!

We look forward to seeing the creative work of our teenage friends this May!
