Last trip of the school year goes to the 7th/8th grade band! We went to ASU and attended the Young Musicians Workshop. We learned some important things about caring for and playing our instruments. Then it was on to Pizza Inn for lunch , a nap on the way back for several kiddos and back in time for awards at school.

7th /8th grade band students went on their end of the year trip to Magic Springs. There were many rides, funnel cakes, and sickness from spinning rides. The weather was fabulous and the students were terrific. A great day to end a great year of hard work!

Senior trip to Branson! We ate lunch at Mel's Hard Luck Diner, experienced the Titanic Museum and played for hours in Wonder Works where River was the winner in Laser Tag. A beautiful house with an indoor pool and game room topped off the evenings. Tired? Absolutely. Worth it? Every minute!

MidSouth Honor Band at ASU was fantastic! Several students participated in the bands. 2 senior high and 6 jr high.

On April 10, several band students attended Solo &Ensemble at Highland High School. They performed solos, duets and trios for a judge and came home with 16 superior ratings and 5 excellent ratings. Congratulations on your hard work!

The high school music students went to Silver Dollar City in Branson on April 25th. It was a long day but we had a great time. The choir performed in the Riverfront Theather and did a fantastic job! Students were to take pictures that were unique, fun, creative and silly and they are posted below. Like, love and laugh on your favorites and throw some comments. This is a picture contest so help us out! Awards will be given out at the awards banquet on Monday.

The Awards Banquet will be on Monday, April 28 at 6pm in the cafeteria. It will be potluck supper so bring something to share. We will eat at 6 and awards will begin about 6:30. (This was originally scheduled on Tuesday but there is a threat of severe weather moving in sometime Tuesday evening so we are changing it to Monday.)
