Just finished marking the course, pay attention to the turns. If you run more than 1/4 mile and don't see a marker you are off course and need to backtrack. Below is a picture of the out and back, keep left when running back from the canyon. WW means wrong way. Course is hard packed all the way thanks to the rain last week

Went out this morning and marked the first 4 miles and a technical section of the Fools Dirty Half course this morning. Don't forget to get signed up by Thursday night to be eligible for the raffle to be drawn on Friday.

And it's a wrap, went out this morning to take down all the markings and remove all the marking paint Thank you to everyone who came out to run and volunteer. I truly appreciate everyone of you. I'm looking to do my next event in October or November the Chupacabra 15k night race.

Course is marked. Caroline helped mark the course and she loved it. I will give a brief course update before the start. If your still on the fence about running tomorrow, come on out at 6:45am for late registration. Weather is going to be perfect. Remember start is located right off interstate 8 at Dunaway road

Online registration ends at 11:59pm today. You will still be able to register day of event starting at 6:45am. I still have plenty of hats and finisher medals so come on out and challenge yourself on this very fun trail course.

It is going to be a perfect morning for our race with temps in the mid 50s at the start and about 70 for most finishers. If you haven't signed up yet there is plenty of time and I have plenty of hats. I will have gels, hydration, fruit, water and salty snacks so all you need to do is show up and run.

Went out this afternoon and marked the turns of the course with pink marking paint. This does not include the technical section that will be added next Friday. The course follows the night course before turning into the new section. When you get to the end of the canyon that spills out onto open desert (marked with Xs) this is the aide station turnaround.
