Farmstand was founded on the principle that using locally sourced organic produce, grass fed pastured meats, and wild caught sustainable seafood is healthier and vastly more delicious than settling for less. Our chef and founder, Marnita Hadnot-Baird, has over 25 years of fine dining experience including working at Spago Beverly Hills, Barney Greengrass Beverly Hills and The Beverly Hills Hotel. She has served major celebrity guests both in restaurants and in their homes and has coordinated special catered events such as post Oscar parties. She also has vast wine experience as she worked with Master Sommelier Michael Bonaccorsi. Seven years with Wolfgang Puck, world travel with her husband, and 10 years as an international commercial flight attendant has made Marnita an avid “Foodie”. She also maintains her FACTS certification as a corporate flight attendant on corporate jets . Chef Marnita is an avid health and wellness advocate and is passionate about teaching others healthy eating to heal and build their bodies. She uses BPA-free plastic containers for dinner deliveries and recyclable containers for lunch. She is very knowledgeable of various diet protocols, and super sensitive to clients’ food allergies. Containers and cooking utensils for serious allergies are stored separately with their names and used only for those clients. Chef has traveled the world and has settled on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe where she spends much of her spare time helping our community. She is a Red Cross disaster responder and was a hospice volunteer. When she lived in Truckee, CA she sat on the board of Slow Food Lake Tahoe.

Oresund Bridge Between Sweden and Denmark is, Longest Bridge and tunnel in Europe !!
The bridge that comes from Sweden turns into a tunnel under the sea and reappears in Denmark; both countries are united by this beautiful work of Engineering.
It has a total length of 16 kilometers and connects Denmark with Sweden through the Øresund Strait. The Oresund Bridge was built in 2000 and allows the passage of cars (highways) and trains between Denmark and Sweden. Before its construction, all traffic between the two countries was carried out by ferry.

You can mount it on card stock, or slip it into a greeting card. Sold for Valentines Day only in $25 increments. That’s a 20% discount. Buy for one, buy for 10. Ive included photos of chicken piccata, NY strip, and sesame roasted salmon that I’ve delivered as examples of the organic, grass fed, and wild caught meals. All veggies are organic as well. Greetings FB family. I’m making my famous,”Mind bending blue cheese/walnut brittle for Valentines Day gifts. From its name, I realize this combination sounds a little crazy. I live the earthy flavor that the walnuts, thyme, and blue cheese add to what I think is often an overly sweet snack. I’m wrapping the ladies’ gifts in a glittery gold box with feminine tissue paper. For the men, I’m using cigar boxes and masculine tissue.

Seasons Greeting FB family. That special time has come from nowhere, it seems! My Thanksgiving hams were a rousing success! I even roasted half a duck with sides for one glorious lady that’s new to town.
I’ve also begun booking holiday office parties large and small. A lot of retailers use my services so that there staff will be able to eat during the rush. Soup, salad, sandos, cookies, cakes!

Don’t forget my now-famous house made Gravlax(wild caught, sockeye salmon from my friend commercial fishing boat in Bristol Bay, Alaska) served with traditional mustard/coffee sauce, or herbed crème fraîche. It can be served with toast triangles, mini bagels and all the side fixins’, or buckwheat blinis. Salmon roe or black caviar available at an additional price
