We have been conflicted about an opportunity that was presented to us and we would like to get your feedback in the community.

We did not start this company to solely make money- my intention is to provide healthy, scratch made food to the community (as affordable as humanly possible to keep the business afloat).

Nebius is building a data center in Independence. They have asked us to provide meals for 100-200 people on a monthly basis for the construction crew.

I love cooking for people and making food that makes people happy, so that’s my only intention.

We want your feedback, because this data center is highly controversial, and our sole purpose is to serve the community in a positive and impactful way, not one that may cause harm.

✨Special Announcement 📣 New Cafe Coming Soon!

Essential Eats Grazing, LLC is excited to announce that we are in the process of expanding our operations to include an indoor cafe, right next door to our current location!

What does this mean?

-Catering operations will continue to be in Unit H and resume as normal. We will continue to offer grazing tables, office catering, platters, boxed lunches, and much more for catered events, pick up, or delivery.

-New Cafe with indoor seating and board games will be in Unit G (to the left of our current space)

-Cafe will expand to include scratch-made hot soups, handmade- fresh onion rings, our signature sandwiches & salads, charcuterie boxes, and a few select desserts, made to order. We will also offer snacks, beverages, and meal prep offerings for Grab n’ Go.

Our ordering platforms are all paused right now for the foreseeable future until we get to the point where we have staff, a finished cafe space, and the bandwidth to take on more orders after wedding season is over soon.

Right now it’s currently Tyler and I running our business on our own and we are ready to begin hiring in the next few weeks. If you know of anyone who has multiple years of foodservice experience, we would be interested in seeing a resume and potentially interviewing if this seems like a good fit.

-Dish washer/ utility- (Tues-Sat | 10am-6:30pm)

Onion Rings:

-Prep cook (x2)- Mon- Fri | 6pm-10pm
-Picker/ packer- Mon- Fri | 6pm-10pm

Our vending fridge at Queen Bee Boutiques & The Vintage Bee has been restocked! 🥗🥪🥙

We have a variety of bottled water, lemonade, sodas, sandwiches, salads, Greek yogurt parfaits, kettle chips, a new meal prep Fall special we are testing out, and useful kitchen knick knacks!

Our vending fridge is located downstairs in The Vintage Bee, near the cash register/stairs.

We are pausing ordering on all of our menus for the foreseeable future.

This is wedding season and we are simply inundated to fulfill all the orders coming in for just Tyler and I.

We are hoping to hire soon, however food costs are up 50%+ since Covid and the profit margin in foodservice is almost nonexistent when you factor in our food costs, overhead costs, utilities, rent, taxes, liability insurance, etc.

We have our wholesale operations that take up 80-90 hours of our work week and any additional catering or meal prep orders add extreme strain to our operations at the moment.

We apologize for any inconvenience, we will update you when we are ready to open up our books again for cafe orders, catering orders, and meal prep orders.

Meal Prep Meals from this week’s orders!

We have a new online ordering link for meal prep, pre-orders must be submitted by Friday’s at 6pm for pick-up the following Monday, or delivery the following Tuesday.

There is a $50 order minimum for pick-up or delivery.

We have a few meal prep meals available at The Queen Bee Boutiques, however we are phasing that out after this week. So, if you love our chef-crafted meal prep meals, please check out our new online ordering platform!
