Beginner Painting was a success with many versions of expressive sunflowers 🌻 It was an ambitious project to complete in two hours and everyone’s turned out beautifully! Nice work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you to the Veterans Administration Whole Health Department for inviting me to lead the art segment of a day retreat for a group of veterans. This was the Healing with Horses retreat at Forever Amber Farms. It was a fun and hot day with wonderful people!

Many people ask what is the mindfulness aspect of my classes and I explain that when you are in the flow of making art, you are focused on that moment of creating and enjoying the process. Last Crafting for Mindfulness class we made sunflower collages. The group had several moments of silence when everyone was lost in their work and feeling the benefit of being creative! We also shared great conversation and laughs! Join me 7/13 for the next CFM class for Junk Journaling !
