Many people kept telling me, I needed to just sit down and just let someone else do it. But, I always say doing what I do is actually NOT WORK to me, it is my HAPPY SPACE! My "work" is therapy for me..........to be able to "set the tone" and create the warm welcoming setting for all of our family & friends was what I wanted to do!
Something that also made this day special was that we were able to (actually for the very first time ever over the many years) collaborate with my aunt, my mom's younger sister, SeBrina Love & her crew at LovEvents Banquet Hall & Catering! In addition to providing some of the linens & centerpieces, they did most of the AMAZING food! I think we both needed to stay busy! I was very happy with how everything turned out. My mom LOVED animal prints and colors! So, we did a vibrant Pop of Pink accented by my mom's favorite animal print - Zebra! It really had her "signature" ALL OVER it!
There were so many others that contributed to the success of this special day by assisting us with setting up as well as providing food. We appreciate EACH AND EVERY one of you!!! There is one person, I would like to give a special shout out to.........since, none of it would have been possible without having an AMAZING place to have it at......Thank you so much Crystal Bi Gibson / NEIDHAMMER for coming thru at the last minute after another venue had last minute issues and didn't honor our booking! You are greatly appreciated for your efforts to assist us in making this happen. There is so much to deal with at a time of loss....having ones who come thru that are helpful in things both big and small.......you know they are a Godsend!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 And, we have been so very bl
