Not only did I book my first Summer Santa gig, but that same customer yesterday (who used me for two nights last season) just booked me for 7 different dates this upcoming season for a total of 24 hours. That is after coming out of the season with nearly a dozen repeat jobs. I am now almost completely booked on weekday nights and starting to see less time available on the weekends. I have mentioned a couple times that this year there are only 3 weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas (instead of 4 least year) so, the hours are now getting limited for the upcoming Christmas season, and it is only June 😳

I have spent some time away from Facebook and it has been really nice. Today I was asked about Christmas in July, and whether I was available if they decide to do an event. It is kind of crazy that folks might be thinking about July already but if you are, and you have thoughts of a Christmas in July event, this Santa is ready with his Christmas colored shorts, Christmasy Hawaiian shirts, and sandles. And the beard is growing nicely and will be in perfect shape by July.

For those who don't think about such things, Thanksgiving is a whole 5 days later this year than it was last year which basically means the Christmas season will be about a week shorter. Instead of 4 weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas, this season will only have 3 weekends. I came out of last season with about a dozen return bookings. Since the New Year, I have confirmed 2 more. If you are looking to hire a Santa this season, please note that the spots will fill quickly. If you used me last season and would like to have me back again this year, please don't hesitate to reach out. I promise it is never too early to think about and book your Santa.

Once a year I take a weekday off work so that I can visit the places that aren’t open on nights and weekends. So today I visited Foundations ABA, Lighthouse Autism Center and Teddy Bear Day Care in Glendale. I also made a special home visit in the middle to see Emmett and his 8-day old sister Everly and I am now waiting to finish up my evening with a Girl Scout troop in Zionsville. Hopefully more pics to come later but for now.. Many more visits to come the next two days. (Obviously a majority of the pictures taken cannot be shared online but I will share what I’m allowed to).. so much sweetness today y’all.
