The Indianapolis Artsgarden is a destination for arts and culture in the heart of downtown Indy.
Owned and operated by the Indy Arts Council, the Indianapolis Artsgarden is a destination for arts and culture in the heart of downtown. The structure is a seven-story tall glass and steel icon over the intersection of Washington and Illinois Streets. The Artsgarden presents more than 250 free and public performances each year, along with monthly visual arts exhibitions by central Indiana artists.
It is also rented for private events, including weddings, corporate receptions, and nonprofit events, which support funding for public arts programming. Artsgarden Hours: Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm | Sunday, 12 - 6 pm
Cultural Concierge Hours: Monday - Saturday, 11 am - 7 pm | Sunday, 12 - 6 pm

The Indianapolis Artsgarden is 29 today! Who doesn’t love a good throwback? We’re taking it back to the grand opening on September 8, 1995, with a fun retro photograph of everyone's beloved event space in the heart of Indy.

Chreece presents The Last Shot Finale at the Indianapolis Artsgarden THIS Friday! Three finalists will perform in front of a panel of judges to show their talent in the final round of competition. The finals champion will be provided the opportunity to perform at The Chreece hip hop festival August 24th.

The free, family-friendly series continues Sunday, August 4, from 3 to 4 p.m., with singer-songwriter Penny English.
For this Art & Soul Sunday performance, Penny English will create an intimate setting with just her guitar and a cello. She celebrates her shared blackness and dedicates the show to Black artists worldwide who have inspired her. The performance will blend soul, rock, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, and country, offering a journey through diverse interpretations of Black culture.

🌸🎶 Welcome the spring season with local and regional school choirs, bands, and orchestras at thIndianapolis Artsgardenen. Spring Sing is an annual event showcasing the talent of school music groups from in and around Indy. All performances are free and open to the public.
Performances are scheduled for Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with choir performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and band and orchestra performances on Thursdays.

Keohane is a composer, instrumentalist, and vocalist whose musical approach draws from her exposure to many different styles, experiences, and cultures throughout her life. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we've got a special performance by Yuriria Rodríguez scheduled for The Garden Sessions tomorrow afternoon. Originally from Costa Rica, Rodríguez is described as "holding the rare privilege of being able to sing in both classical and popular styles with great professionalism, expression, and accuracy of style." A graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Rodríguez has won numerous awards throughout her career for her vocal talent. Stop by the Artsgarden tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. to hear her songs come to life!
