It was a vibe at the last The Green House Affect Open Mic w/ Special Guest Romain. Romain murdered his set. The crowd was dope and kept the energy up all night. We had a packed house with several new faces, a full list with a violinist (from Louisiana), 3 vocalist, and 2 emcees. Our caterer, Divas Kitchen, was out and missed but we made due. Folks were absolutely “BUTTERED”!!!!!! The winner of “The Question Game” won a whopping 10 bucks. Our raffle winner left with a “F**ket” tee, 2 comedy show tix for Laugh Tonite with Brent Terhune (featuring some amazing artists AND ME), 2 Comedy Show tix for a September show, and a $20 PharmFree Life + Coffee & Tea Bar gift card. I (jus Will) was able to test some new jokes as usual. DJiSM317 rocked out all night. My co host, The Girl Terrell was there in spirit. Brittany B was also there though absent and always secures great features all the way from her (fake) home in Pennsylvania. I popped off a couple “F**KET” joints. We read F**ket Bucket entries and disposed of some ugly negativity. All in all the night was incredible as usual!!!!!! The energy was terrific!!!!!! The Green House AFFECT open mic is almost 13 years old and has been connected to all the artistic genres in our community. So last night we had 2 comics and 2 vocalists who didn’t make it in time to get on the list but still stayed and enjoyed the set and supported the other artists.
