I got this beautiful handmade vase from Connor Prairie this fall, it's glazed with salt and fired in a wood burning kiln that takes many people and hours to keep lit.

Why do I use pasture raised eggs?

The differences between cage-free, free-range, and pasture-raised eggs come down to the environment in which the chickens that laid them were raised. While there is a possibility that environment can impact the chickens’ diet and health, there is not enough evidence suggesting free-range or pasture-raised eggs are better for you. All eggs have a similar nutritional profile and can provide health benefits when eaten as part of an overall balanced diet.

If the source of your eggs is important to you, look for eggs labeled “pasture raised.” This likely ensures the chickens they came from had access to a larger outdoor space than other types.

I love animals and pasture-raised chickens are cared for in a more humane manner.

Two tier 3 layer lemon cake, filled with brambleberry jam and organic lemon curd, finished with lemon swiss meringue buttercream. All ingredients are organic, free-range, homemade, top-quality ingredients. I even make my own vanilla extract. Also available in a chocolate, caramel and vanilla version. $300.
