if I’m being completely honest — I have been in a total slump since my shoulder surgery. it’s really taken a toll on me mentally + emotionally. I’m not super proud of myself right now, I am constantly comparing myself to all these incredible photographers, just feeling super ‘blah’ & it doesn’t help it’s so dang cold in Indiana.

buttttt I know I’ve gotta give myself some grace, get creative again & post my work because I’ve truly had so many beautiful sessions + with amazing people & it needs to be seen!!!! also feeling so grateful to have such stunning indoor, natural light studios to shoot in during the winter months.

photographers — this is your reminder that it’s okay to feel ‘off’ sometimes but that you are right were you’re supposed to be, there are so many people who love you + your work and so many people rooting for you!!!! be YOU, shoot what YOU want to shoot + don’t compare yourself so much!!
